Liddle to be released to the Dragons, the Dragons got his salary reduced for next season. This results in the Tigers not paying him anything next season.

Jacob taking less to get an opportunity to play first grade.

Good on Liddle for backing himself and taking the pay cut to play top grade footy.

Many others would of dug their heels in for the $$$

Not what we needed to move out of the 8, but can definitely play a role in an established team with a stronger pack and spine.

Will do decent for dragons I reckon

Good luck to Liddle, he is a good player. His defence is under rated, holds up the middle well.  I don’t know why but his dummy half work regressed badly this season.

The Dragons are close to announcing their first signing for 2023 - talented Tigers hooker Jacob Liddle.

With veteran Andrew McCullough expected to retire, the Dragons have been on the lookout for a class dummy-half and met with Liddle this week.

The Tigers rate Liddle but are content to let him go given they have spent big money bringing NSW State of Origin hooker Api Koroisau to the club from Penrith next season.

A former Australian Schoolboys representative, the 25-year-old Liddle is a Central Coast junior who joined the Tigers in 2015 and played in their National Youth Cup team.

He made his top grade debut the following season but his career has been marred by injury since then.

He played just 10 NRL games this season but is a smart dummy-half with speed who should be able to get the Dragons' pack on the front foot next season.

Hope liddle goes well at dragons, defence never been up to it he hallways seems to get bumped off tackles and his dummy half passing pretty average.

His strengths were his running game, I think he would make a great hooker to come from the bench and just run

Liddle was often acknowledged for his fitness. However, mental fatigue would often get the better of him at critical moments, resulting in the fumbles and wayward passes. Needs to better manage his energy levels over 80 minutes to remain sharp, focused and reliable.

Our hookers were over worked because our bigger middles were constantly being out muscled and dominated. It all arcs back to the need to strengthen our middles.

Good result for the club. Liddle has been a massive disappointment.

@avocadoontoast I hope the old man can get the job done with recruitment as the dominoes are falling the clubs way at present . Had hope for Liddle but the step up seems far away on a week to week basis good luck to him .

He can go back the New Zealand if he wants, just can't play footy.

In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)

If that’s true, does the Warriors have a player we may need/ want.
