Re-signing him for next season would be an atrocious decision.
He has been ordinary since he got here. He put in effort in about 2 halfs and got me excited but nothing since. I expected more from the captain.

We gotta upgrade ....Cotter or Carrigan or Flegler would be ok ....probably end up with Vaughn

Carrigan is a great player. I knew he would become something the first time I saw him play. Pretty sure he has signed an extension.

I haven’t seen much of him but he does seem to have pace which we lack. Maybe as a winger.
Tumeth and Matamua both playing well for U19s. Tumeth doing a load of defence and Matamua is a big body for someone who plays 5/8 for club. There aren’t too many that are standing out for the teams other than maybe trey mooney the 13 for NSW, he looks a talent.
Matamua was very impressive IMO. Very athletic, very skilful, and a high work rate.
Tumeth was solid, but nothing spectacular. He is only recently back from a long injury lay off however. Looks a bit undersized to me. You can tell he’s a real goer in defence.

Bulldogs marquee recruit Matt Burton has reportedly informed the club he will not take up a player option for the 2024 season.
The 22-year-old signed a two-year deal in 2021 with a third year in his favour — but will now be able to test the open market come November 1.
