WT are understood to be close to signing Jake Averillo from 2027, who has indicated he wants to return to Sydney.

Perhaps this is why we seem to have quickly dropped off the interest in Connor Watson. Either that or he was always going to the Dragons anyway.
Not much leaks out of the Tigers these days. We usually only hear about signings and re-signings when they are either done or 99% sorted.

Averillo reported on Code Sports/DT... Which usually means there's something in it. Anyone rate him? Can't say I know much about him. Would be for the centres though surely, not the halves at CS is saying.
@tigerstu would absolutely slot straight into right centre. Ball in hand he's good and has genuine speed which we are lacking. Not a lock down defender but he's certainly not bad. If we get him it would definitely round off our backline.
