I’d prefer to keep Skelton. We have 2 left centres already.

Seems like we've gone back to leak like a sieve!
And this is all unfolding straight out of the Moses Management handbook...

Journos will always promote rumours or misinformation, sometimes it will be based on fact too. But the reason they keep doing it is because people read it and talk about it.

I'm just focusing on the games now. The squad is solid and we've got the core signed for the next few years. Forget the Bula stuff, stop talking about it and focus on what we're doing now.

Benji talks of standards and actions, let's keep the talk positive too

The Wests Tigers are set to move swiftly in a bid to lock in one of their 2025 debutants.

The club is closing in on a contract extension for lock forward Charlie Murray, with a deal between the club and his management understood to be close to finalisation. Murray's rise to the NRL has been anything but conventional, with the forward earning his opportunity last season after years of grinding through rugby league's development systems.

The 24-year-old spent time in the systems of the Gold Coast Titans and Melbourne Storm before breaking through with the Tigers in 2025, initially arriving on a train-and-trial deal.

After making his debut in Round 14, Murray went on to feature multiple times and quickly established himself as a reliable option in the club's forward rotation.

He has carried that momentum into 2026, impressing throughout the pre-season and strengthening his case for a bigger role.

Murray's agent Kif Chowdhury told ESPN the forward's journey highlights the value of persistence.

"Charlie's career is a great example of what can happen when someone refuses to give up on their dream," Chowdhury said.

With discussions now progressing towards completion, the Tigers look set to reward one of their most hard-earned success stories.

With only 28 spots on the roster taken up - Is Tavana signing number 29 given he is named in the 17 this week. Although I feel like we are going to see rotation of spots 18 and 19 to ensure people get regular game time

Reports Connor Tracey is set to re-sign with the Bulldogs. This is a possible clue that Bula has at least said no to them.

I’m still worried about the Dragons though.

I don't think Bula is a good cultural fit for the WT given he seems to be pretty reluctant to praise the coaching staff or say anything positive in general about the club. We have seen this many times before with Isaac Moses clients.

I think we should come to an agreement with Bula for an additional season at $850k (split the difference between club option 900k and player option 800k) then shake hands and move on to a better value player for 2028.

In 12 months we'll know a lot more about Attard and Brookes as long term fullback options.

Isaac Moses hasn't ever done WT any favours and we should stand up to him in this instance. No player or his agent is bigger than the club.
