Seriously though, it would be pretty hard to imagine them not following medical advice.
I thought that I had read or heard somewhere that the desired success of shouldr surgery was not guaranteed and that it could possibly result in greater damage and bring his career to an abrupt end. I guess he chose to toss the dice and see how well he can play without the surgery risks. I might be wrong on that point.
It was a partial rupture of the tricep muscle. He showed me the small indent above his left elbow. You don’t need operation if not a full rupture, just rehab. There can be some elbow extension issues afterwards but depends on severity.
