Why did Toa not have the operation on his shoulder seems odd to me .. now hearing his shoulder is no good not very professional IMO .
Denis Burgess wouldn’t sign the cheque 😂
Seriously though, it would be pretty hard to imagine them not following medical advice.

I thought that I had read or heard somewhere that the desired success of shouldr surgery was not guaranteed and that it could possibly result in greater damage and bring his career to an abrupt end. I guess he chose to toss the dice and see how well he can play without the surgery risks. I might be wrong on that point.
It was a partial rupture of the tricep muscle. He showed me the small indent above his left elbow. You don’t need operation if not a full rupture, just rehab. There can be some elbow extension issues afterwards but depends on severity. This is what I’ve read about it.Why did Toa not have the operation on his shoulder seems odd to me .. now hearing his shoulder is no good not very professional IMO .

Mavrick Geyer in negotiations with Perth, looks likely to be a one season proposition for our club (no great surprise).

Take note of his tackling - right edge defence should improve

Love this. The club is really planning ahead and trying to lock up the core of the current squad. I honestly think this stability is a great thing going forward, more off seasons together, more consistent with combinations and systems.
Samuela and Maka obviously in the line if sights next, although I think it's too early for the offer for Maka.
Who else do we want locked in for the next 4-5 years? Surely Terrell has to be in that, which will help retain Taylan.

Bula, but I reckon he goes to the Dragons.

Yeah I’ve never hidden what a fan I am of AD…. But this is just another crazy move from this organisation. He is one injury away from ending his career. I’m actually worried about his wellbeing trying to tackle JT again this week.Official - Doueihi re-signed for 27 and 28.
I know I’m glass half empty but it’s just the way I see it 🤷♂️

I've never hidden that I am not that much of a fan of AD, but im not worried about the length of AD's contract if its at a reasonably low amount. He is a good player to have in the squad due to his versatility. He is not however an elite halfback and I hope that his Contract rate reflects this.
I agree he one injury away from the end of his career and I hope that not only his contract figures reflects this but also they have their ducks in a row with regards medical retirement if it happens.
Former Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs centre Danny Gabrael has signed a NSW Cup deal with Wests Tigers.

Maybe Skelton returns to Dogs?
He’s decent and a big body, but has struggled to play on the right. We wouldn’t move Makasini and why would we give them Skeleton when he plays both sides?
