I wonder if in the back of PVLs mind what he means by wests and Balmain will always exist is that he will let the magpies back in to play out of CSS and he will give a license to a new Easts Brisbane/balmain tigers team to cover the south/south west Brisbane catchment. That way you seperate the toxic HBG mess and complete the Brisbane build out. If it wasn’t for PNG this would be a no brainer because I do think a South Island NZ makes a huge amount of sense

He may be fringe NSW player but he will add a lot to the dragons line up when he arrives. They have been quite active in the player market and I am not sure we are keeping pace with the improvements of some of the other strugglers as far as strengthening our squad goes. A little worried at the moment.

I tend to agree but I think I can’t really assess where we’re at until 10 rounds in next year.
On paper, potentially, another prop and a halfback seem to be most obvious weaknesses but then if Hunt is fit and firing, and Afoa is ready to rumble then we might be ok up front, and maybe halfback puzzle is sorted between Doueihi and Latu?

It might not be the end of the world but I believe post Richo,would be more than a slap in the face to Shaun Mielekamp’s tenure and further ambitions.I’m optimistic enough to think Shaun will get his man and Jahream will recommit,I would be deeply disappointed if otherwise.Smells like typical Isaac Moses antics though.Always protracted,never clean and simple,and furthermore how can the Dogs afford him?mentioned in Brisbane.,that Bula to dogs on a 3 year deal. @joel This has probably been a given for a while , the young kid from the Panthers did not sign to sit behind another No1 for years there must of been movement.. I agree Bula is Ok but can be covered unfortunately if he departs it just reflects the dire straights this club is in .The club is on life support and Imo if Bula does leave he is the start of the exodus would any of us want to sign long term deals with a club run like this don’t think so !If Mielekamp had any ambitions to further his career in sports administration he would leave quickly as with the club there is no future as the past says it all !
So who are we signing for 2027 when Bula signs with the Dogs?
@tigertownsfs Well the way things are with the club probably will struggle to attract much at all … until the word OVERS raises its ugly head and I suppose it depends if this Penrith kid steps up .
