Not discussing Bula... But come November 1st next week, off contract list who can negotiate includes (according to nine article):
Bunty Afoa, Heath Mason, Jack Bird, Jahream Bula, Jarome Luai (PO), Luke Laulilii, Sione Fainu, Solomone Saukuru, Tony Sukkar, Tristan Hope, Mavrik Geyer.
Excluding Bula and Luai, the only one I'm concerned about and want to wrap up is Sione.

Samoa are a fantastic team and Luai looks great in that squad. Surely we can leverage that into recruitment and if it doesn’t work out with Benji then Gardiner would be a good candidate for coach

They all seemed to know their job and Luai's decision making was very good. Plenty of talent but there must have been some coaching stuff going on there as well.

Gardiner has already been given the nod for the Bears after Mal. He has a 5 year Contract there. We had our chance with Gardiner when he was our Reggies coach in 2021 and Assistant coach in 2022 and we shafted him. He is never coming back.
Just watching a replay of the Test and KPP was probably one of England's best. Played on the LHS though. We want him on the right. England had Bateman on the left and he was pretty quiet and ineffective.

@joel I think Richo has a figure and I would say dealing with that grub of an agent doesn’t sit well . Bula is ok but not on that money his game needs some improvement to command that salary . The club realistically has not got a specialist No 1 on the books under Bula so a smart move to maybe sign this young guy from the Panthers .. I thought the club did have another guy in the path ways at fullback might still be a bit young .

papenhayzen has been released from storm,he might be worth having a crack at rathwr than keeping Bula
