next year
1. Jahream Bula
2. Sunia Turuva
3. Taylan May
4. Makasini / Toa
5. Jeral Skelton
6. Jerome Luai
7. Jock Madden
8. Terrell May
9. Api Korisau
10. Sione Fainu
11. Samuela Fainu
12. Kai Pearce-Paul
13. AD14. Latu Fainu
15 Twal
16. Fonua Pole
17. Seyfarthim not happy with this pack/bench. Latu needs to be starting 7 and our bench needs to be 4 impactful players who are genuine top 17 in a top 4 team.
Seyfarth is a no, twal is last picked on the bench and we need a genuine 14 option not a kid learning a position or a qld cup player.
we need the A type predator to lead and complement Terrell. Pole and Sione are good enough. Still some work to be done
shake the tree hard enough who knows Spencer Leniu might come lose at thw roosters, he is the front rower to complement May up front.
As for the 14 option in a years time it is probably Haywoods
not sold on latu at 7

Yep, seems a likely move. Still, you’d want to see some other signatures before you committed to a totally new franchise.

If they can tap into the mining industry/ money, they will have very strong TPAs with all the mining money over there.
We need to recruit Tino. All in.
not sure where to put this so it goes here.
Tallyn is officially an Eel.
pretty ordinary play by TDS

We miss him 100%, particularly for the end of this year and would love him going forward, but he had 2 or 3 of these plays in every game.
@tiger5150 - was he doing this with us?

He has clearlypicked up that new "skill" at Parra
NRL really needs to crack down on this milking penalties crap, it is a blight on the game and will only take a weekend or two and a few penalties to make it go away or at least minimise it. Problem is they are not only ignoring the issue but also rewarding it by giving players penalties. Look at the dogs game on the weekend where Critta gets a bit of shove at marker from JFH after he played the ball and the ball had cleared the ruck, then falls over like he was shot and milks a penalty. This is a guy that soon after ran through 4 defenders and stayed upright to score a try. Also watch whenever critta gets any pressure on his ankle in a tackle he stays down holding his ankle hoping it was a hip drop...when it is cleared he suddenly gets up and runs at full tilt on the next play. Of the Sydney teams Parra and the Dogs are the worst (or best) at milking. Perhaps the media needs to look at highlighting these plays where players suddenly miraculously recover or put on these acting displays and we shame them into stopping it....could be a show in a format like media watch or the cheap seats where this stuff is called out and ridiculed.

Watching Moses drag the eels over the line single handedly yesterday (and the last few weeks) makes me wonder, what if we had landed him instead of luai 18 months ago? As great as luai has been, part of me thinks Moses could have accelerated our on field success this year. That said, recruitment would have looked a lot different (turuva, api, latu, etc). Interesting what could have been scenario…

Would have been an unmitigated disaster IMO.
1. First of all, he was NEVER coming back to us and his Uncle Isaac was just using us to pump his price up at Parra (which I am grateful that the Tigers could help.).
2. Secondly, Moses has played a total of 9 games this year as a result of his recurring and persistent foot injury issues that mysteriously flared up again the week after signing multi year, multi million dollar deal. We could not have had $1.3M of cap sitting on the sidelines for 2/3 of the year.
3. Most importantly IMO, with regards to building a team and club culture, Moses would be the anti-Luai and done exactly the opposite of what Luai has been able to do off the field.
4. As you correctly point out, probably no turuva, no Api extension etc etc.
I think Parra will come to rue their decision to invest big $$$ and years into the end of Moses career and I'd bet heavily that his career ends in a medical retirement years before the end of his contract.
