There is something there with douhie. We need cover for Api, perhaps Latu 14 to play some time at 13 and 9 is what’s best for the team. He didn’t look good at 7 beside Luai - he looked overawed by Luai. It would go a long way to solving the 13/14 riddle if Douhie/Luai works and Latu to play in the utility.

Pole is not going to get cut. Can he improve his defence? For sure. But he offers impact in offence and that is something we sorely miss. I just can’t see Benji getting rid of him. Bird, Seyfarth, Hunt even Twal might go

I get the calls for Twal to be cut, we need nore effective/exciting forwards but I thought he was good yesterday and I actually think he has had a good year. Is hitting the line with more venom and has developed a bit of footwork that usually gets his nose through the line. Much improved IMO and I think we should aim that Twal is our weakest link in our pack because he isnt at the moment.

I really don't think we will get him unless that 3 is changed to a 4.
However, i dont think i would make that change.
I just see someone else offering more than what we have, especially after the last 3weeks.
Whilst I would love to keep AD, he may be a headache we are better off without. I want us to put all our eggs in the Luai/Latu 6 & 7 with Madden as backup give them a full preseason to hone their combinations and see what 26 delivers. If he is willing to stay for $400k and have a decent crack at 13/14 than happy days, however I don't want to screw our salary cap as we really need a couple of quality middles.
