So what do we think of Tyrone May? Would be a handy 14. A bit like what Dylan Walker has done at the eels

I think it is a made up story by the Mole.

I think so too and desperately hope so. I think Tyrone would be Jack Bird 2.0 just with less ticker.

Thankfully Tyrone signed a contract extension with HKR a month ago.

Tyrone at 13...no thanks. Tyrone as a utility to replace AD, then yes that could work. We need a proper 13 and an Alpha prop. I would not be against Tui from storm would not be on big $$ so worth a punt, the guy is built like a brick outhouse and doesn't have an ounce of fat on him. I would love NAS for a year, however not for the $$ he is currently getting at Storm.

The nib Newcastle Knights have continued to build their roster for 2026 and beyond, securing the signatures of Asu Kepaoa and Matthew Hunter to National Rugby League contracts.

Sharks enforcer Braden Hamlin-Uele has been given permission to talk with rival clubs just 12 months after extending his contract with the club.

The Sharks have well documented cap problems and could move players on in order to re-sign key talent.

Would be a horrible signing. Averaging 77m run a game, only getting 30mins out of him. Temu Royce.

Yes on a discount as he can cover a couple of positions, powerful and has great hands.

More interested in Braden Hamlin-Uele, need more forwards.

Had a look at his stats, your 100% right. Already 30 years old and playing limited minutes with no impact.

High bust potential and looks more suited to Super League now.

we should be looking at Jesse Colquhoun, Oregon Kaufusi or Tuku Hau Tapulha. We don’t need the sharks cast off. We need the good ones.

Talakai interests me. Would be very tempted to pick him up for a year or two & move Sam to prop. Having the Fainu brothers starting together would help us I think. Sam still young & enjoys the collision & both would inspire each other. Doubt very much the club would go that way but I think we’d be better. A left edge of Talakai, Taylan May & Masi would provide impact.

Thats old news surely. Hasn’t he met with Flanagan and the CEO already? No great earth shattering news there by Riccio
