Gallant helped uncover Lachlan Galvin and Tallyn Da Silva and will now work closely with Benji Marshall and Shane Richardson.

Jobs for the boys.  

@joel Yes it’s pathetic really the whole club is jobs for the boys and this is going to end badly no fresh blood you will not improve by not refreshing with new ideas . 

Is Matt Betsey still around - if so, what's his role?

Big promotions for both, given they were both involved with the Jr teams at Balmain/Wests afaik.

I’d get it if we were Storm, but geez we’ve been mediocre at best for 15 years so logically you’d think you’d want proven outside systems and knowledge coming in wouldn’t you?

Gallant's first job with the NRL side will be to try to turn over roster spots this off season. If Benji is going to still be in work come mid 2026 then I think he'll have to start moving on players who are only contracted with us for 2026. It wont be enough to just add new faces for next year. Here is our list of off contract for next year 2026

Agree, though I would keep Sukkar.

there is going to be 2 new teams in super league in 2026. Just announced overnight.

There's more potential for shake ups to the NRL player talent pool with this news. Hopefully WT can move a few players on.

@tigertownsfs thanks for sharing. Now would be a great time to tell Toa to test the market. He's been awful for the last 8 weeks.

I'd favour bringing Gagai in to take his place for 2026 and let Toa back him up in Cup. We need experience desperately.
