Chairman shouldn’t be interfering with player negotiations - especially Lee after his “work” in the Mitchell and JAC negotiations.

Brooks salary keeps increasing substantially thanks to nrl360 and journalists like Rothfield first it's 700k the 850k then 1 million they wouldn't know.
Exactly but what no one takes into consideration is opportunity cost.
I strongly doubt that Brooks is on >$1M next year or any other year, but even if he is on $850-900K, that is more than he is worth IMO.......in isolation,.......but.....
How much would it cost to sign a halfback clearly better than him and attract that player to our club (on our record). More than $900K in my opinion and add to that the fact that we had to decide early in his career his ultimate value.
He is probably over paid around $200K pa but when you consider the market for halves, that is understandable. On the other hand do you think you could get the same output as Nofo for $300K? The answer is a easy yes.
for what it’s worth, the club didn’t deny that Brooks was on over a million when we reached out to to clarify.

I think it depends on the chairman
Nick at Rooster & Bart at Storm are pretty involved and they are doing ok

It was reported at the time the deal was worth 2.7 Million over 4 Years.. That equates to 675K per season.. at the time he was the Dally M half of the Year. signed in 2018..
How Wests Tigers structured that contract is anyone's Guess..
Buzzard Chamass and co believe it has gone up incrementally..

That would be a very fair contract.

Hasn’t that question already been answered with Hastings at half? And we already have a better 5/8 in Doueihi. Both on a lot less $$$$
@mike Douhie will want more at his next contract, it will be his big contract
Better positioned to get Brooks to take a paycut and go after Burton or Stephen Crichton

That's a matter of opinion..
Nofoaluma at 500k over 4 years is a disgraceful Signing
450k for 3 years would have been passable at best

That’s a good point…but if we were $600,000 under the cap, take out Mikaele (maybe $300,000) you’re getting close…
