It depends on if we keep ADs & Naden. If Anderson does go Broncos surely they can’t keep Cobbo, Staggs, Mariner, Shibasaki, Arthurs as well. Or am I missing something? Maybe Anderson doesn’t go there? It’s interesting to me that a couple of weeks ago the Storm came out and said Grant Anderson won’t be there next year. Apparently the Broncos were mentioned as a possible landing place for him but nothing confirmed as yet as far as I know.
Do we need centres/wings though?
depends what Adam Reynolds does next year, if he plays next year at the Broncos they lose a few depth players and maybe Cobbo, his rumoured to be going to the Dolphin’s next season. I would be looking at Mariner,Leota a good young centre/ wing and Baker.

would hope we only keep 1 or AD or Naden, rumours were souths were interested in Naden ?
Were also rumours Anderson deal has stalled at broncos so maybe we are a chance.
Surely the club can get one of Anderson, Cobbo, Staggs, Mariner, Arthur's, Hetherington
Naden just makes too many poor decisions in my view. AD is a more reliable centre and at a pinch could play 6. Naden would be elite in the super league
And with Doueihi you get a goalkicker.

Imagine what our RHS attack could do if we had a genuine 2RF threat on that side? Toa is looking so good this year in line breaks and try assists, you put a Olakuatu inside him and it’s one of the most lethal RHS in the league. As much as I love Douhies heart and the improvement he has made in his game in defence, he rarely if ever beats his man in attack or sets up his winger.
a really strong recruit at RHS 2RF (Olokuatu or more likely KPP), a more talented LHS centre (hopefully Makasini can break out early but more likely Taylan May) and Latu to step up into a direct running 7 and we are not far off having a really really good young football team that will compete for a very long time.
If Fogarty stays at Canberra then Manly really become a dark horse to go hard for Galvin (Moses club etc) and then you have to say if it came to it that might let Olakuatu leave

great post mate I could not agree more.
It's almost as if we play with one short in good ball situations because every play is designed to avoid Seyfarth getting the ball.
I had a similar thought re Manly but I think Fogarty has been offered a 3 year deal. He'd be crazy not to take it?
Nevertheless, I agree Galvin for Haumole is hypothetically at least a fair trade.

the raiders look to me like they are going to be a very very strong team. They have always had a good pack but the physicality and athleticism of their young outside backs are off the charts. Yes they have some good young halves but it’s clear in this day and age that you need a general at 7 to put it all together. The raiders would be crazy to let Fogarty go. I think a good chance he stays. Manly are a mess, Turbo is always injured and without him and DCe they are going to be the next knights or eels in my view. A complete roster rebuild is needed once DCes class is missing
if Manly can get
1. turbo
6. Brooks
7. Galvin
they will do well
we should be pushing olakuatu trade for 2026

I've heard a couple of interesting things about Olakuatu, wouldn't surprise me if he did end up elsewhere. In saying that, Galvin is off to the Eels, take it to the bank.

he can’t go anywhere in 2026 without our permission and in 27 the bears come in so there is going to be big disruption to the player market. Eels have tampered and are left without a 6 for 2026. I wouldn’t put it past the tigers to say you can’t leave unless we get something we want and the eels have nothing

I would love it if galvin went to Bears in 2027 instead of Parramatta how good would that be parramatta without a 6
DCE is going somewhere and I don't think roosters is signed off just yet. If Manly miss out on Fogarty I hooe a conversation is had reached galvin for 2026 and we can ask for olakuatu.
Rich knows a deal has already been done with Parramatta, that announcement he made was to bring it all out into the open. Moses prefers to agitate in the shadows, and would have destroyed our season if we let him keep anonymously white anting Benji and the team.

I still come back to the fact that a deal cannot happen without our consent. This isn’t like when Tedesco, Moses and Woods left when their contracts were up (Moses did leave early but it was only half a year if my memory serves). With Parra we have to consent to 2026 (by all means sign him for 27 but that just means we have use of his services on a discount contract for 27). If I was Parra I would be pretty worried that the way this has come out and the fact that Benji has managed to hold the team together means that he has no early exit without our consent. The whole legal thing just completely falls apart also, he obviously has a safe workplace. He could still tank I guess but even then we could sit him in reserves. Given how Galvin has responded it seems like tanking is unlikely. A bears 27 move would be fine because we still use him in 26, manly need another half after losing Latu, DCe and blowing up sushter. Moses will 💯 move him to Manly if he needs to.
I think bears, manly, the eels and also Penrith could all still be in the market for him. Bulldogs even.
Parra have done a deal, it may not be a signed contract, however at the very least it's a commitment to sign him today, tomorrow or in 18months. If someone else comes on the market or one of their juniors comes good it could blow up in Galvin and Moses face. Manly and dogs need an organising 7, Galvin is nowhere near being that. I think Blaize comes good at 6 for Penrith, just needs time, Galvin would probably fit in best there, I just don't think they can afford him.
Asu Kepaoa back at the Tigers?
