We do need to be aggressive in our approach to Galvin, no one player is more important than the team, so if he is not willing to extend by mid-season than I would be bringing Latu in to replace him. In the meantime, I am happy for Latu to play 80 mins in the halves every week in KOE to hone his craft. If Galvin extends than things become a bit trickier with Latu. What I saw on the weekend was a big difference between a quality half (Luai) and a very awkward and inexperienced half (Galvin) and tbh it was apparent in the prime ministers team and the first 2 trial games as well as the first round...thats 4 games now were Galvin has looked pretty ordinary. Hopefully it was just his head getting a bit too big with Gould and co pumping his tyres and after last weeks performance he sorts himself out. Whilst Luai did not set the world on fire in attack, his tenacity in defence and shape in attack are streets ahead of Galvin.
@helmesy Latu is a true 7 and they are in very short supply , the two halves at present are both 5/8’s . Latu has hardly played in two seasons if he stays injury free by mid season he will break out ! Latu is the one the club should be prioritising it would be a disaster if he leaves . If Galvin leaves it would be Latu at 7 .. Laui at 6 next season he can still run things from there .
with brown to newcastle that frees up parramatta to have a goodd go at galvin as a 6 partner ring with Isaac Moses nephew Mitch, and Galvin's junior club...
I would say we are buckleys of getting him past 2026
He stays if we are winning and the money is on par.
His mates are here and he will be a Club immortal.
It’s 50/50 I reckon. I can see him staying, equally I can see him having a sook and going to the land of the sooks (aka Parra), or being the golden boy at Bondi Junction.
or the 7 at Bulldogs
6 at parramatta
6 at Bondi
I think his odds of staying are lengthening by the day.
His "management" already asked for a release before his debut when we signed sullivan and luai.
if he does sign november 1 with a rival club do you let him go prior to 2026 and invest in latu fainu ? go use that money to buy a second rower and another centre
by not taking an upgrade and extension unfortunately id say he is goooooone
Latu Fainu given an opportunity to work with Luai will go very well if that is the path the club has to take
My guess he may head to the Manly tigers
manly is a Moses ‘team’
DCE will likely be retired for season 27
The only drama could be what Tedesco did .. knowing full well he was moving on and drag the club along for the ride hence losing Paps .. the club needs to be very aware of who there dealing with in regards to Moses ! Hopefully if Galvin wants to move on himself and parents are honest with the club .

Why would he go there when they have Large and Brooks?
I reckon it is the Roosters for sure. Maybe the dogs
I find it interesting how Gould is glowing about Galvin , maybe this is a ruse a 7 is a bigger commodity maybe Latu is his main target ! Get the Tigers to over commit on Galvin then Gould gets his man just saying !
@canberratiger Why would Galvin go to the EELS look at there side on paper they are rebuilding and are probably at the same stage as the Tigers with a rookie coach ,the Roosters for mine Glamour club .. Teddy in his ear about how wonderful it is in the Eastern suburbs and how good there dentist is new teeth and all . I actually think this is all a bit piss weak putting all this pressure on the kid it’s the second round for god sake . The media have a lot to answer for saying open your chq books to all clubs . The boys parents need to pull his manager into line as this inexperienced kid has to be concerned about the next game , a bit of a form slump coupled with this expectation could be a real concern.

I don't reckon he will go to the Eels. I reckon it will be the Roosters as they have heaps of room and are known as a destination club. I could see the dogs as they are a team on the up.
Agreed on the media front, but his manager would be driving it and loving it at the same time.
In November, Moses gets paid, Galvin gets to go to a big club and "take his game to a whole new level", and the media get to dump on the Tigers.
Izaac Thompson has left the Rabbits to sign a NSW Cup contract with the Magpies.
Ravalawa is apparently leaving Dragons for Souths this week, this will open a spot for Klemmer at St.George-Illawarra.
Taylan May has commenced negotiations with NRL suitors.

100%, he isn’t consistent or established yet and all this circus is going on.

@helmesy you seemed confident and hinted at something a few weeks ago. Has that fallen through?
Not calling you out or anything
