I might be wrong but Faagatu Isn’t part of the top 30 any more. According the tigers website

Where on the Tigers website did you see that? He is still listed in the "teams" page (so is papali'i though) and not listed on the departing players page?

Thanks,

Thats interesting that they only list 29 players. What is also interesrting is that when I first responded to your post, I went and checked the WT site and also Zerotackle for the Top 30 list. At that time both had Miller & Faagutu listed as top 30.

Since then Zerotackle has revised their top 30  squad list to reflect WT page. Not that ZT is a definitive source.

So based on that we officially have a slot open.....Sione?

I would think they’d probably be looking for a half. Sullivan??

Some reports this afternoon that Hunt will go to Roosters, that’s why they offloaded May. Fingers crossed Doueihi goes to Dragons and May comes here.

To be honest at the moment it would be a mistake to re-sign Sione.

Bold strategy. I think that Sione is moderately important resigning based on his form last year (much improved over previous years) but an even more important signing based on making and keeping the Fainu family happy. I totally get that roster spots are scarce and we need better props but I think its better strategy to take the stab and keep Sione and fight to open another spot for the bigger signing.

I would be using the spot we have to sign May.

Let's swap Tumeth for Crichton while we're at it

29 top 30 NRL players for 2025 is fantastic news. There is still a few more names like Bateman, Naden, tumeth that are also likely on the way out and our cap looks much better. Our spine is totally settled, we just need a couple of forwards to really reshape the team. We are in a much better position than some of these other rebuild squads

Trindall re-signs with sharks. Dragons, knights and Roosters in dire need for halves.

Surely one of them will take Doueihi and one will take Sullivan?
