A left field sentimental suggestion....assuming we can free up roster spots, any takers to bring Kit Kautoga home? Would be cheap, effective depth with plenty of others in his way.
Obviously need a bigger name prop such as Thompson but also a gamble on a young prop like Kit could pay dividends. we were banking on Miller or someone of that ilk coming good. I would have a soft spot (possibly in my head) to replacing that prospective young kid sopt that miller had.
Yes…but we have four rookie backrowers that might not be contributing to the first grade side in 2025 as it stands. You’d need to be sure he can come straight into the NRL side and contribute from day one.

There’ll be a fair few clubs interested in Trindall. Not so many in ADs & Bud.I wouldn’t get too carried away just yet in regards to the Hunt situation at Dragons. Some suggestions they might make a play for Trindall at Sharks and although Sharks wouldn’t want to lose him it might help them keep a few others if they let him go. Good chance he’ll leave anyway given the clubs interested in him & that he’d command a hefty pay increase. They do have Atkinson as well. The Dragons really must now prioritise a half & not a middle but Flanno loves a strong pack so who knows for sure.
“No offence but I think I’d rather Sullivan than Trindall. Not overly impressed on him personally.”
Trindall also not available until 2026 and can’t see Sharks letting him go early. Some clubs might want to bring players straight away and AD and Bud are more than gettable straight away I’d think.
I doubt the Sharks would release Trindall early too but it might be considered as they could use the money to front load a contract or two of guys like Nikora or Kennedy or McInness or Mulitalo or Wilton etc. It’s more about fitting all their guys into the cap 2025 & 2026 especially with too many of their best players able to speak to clubs from tomorrow.
Gutherson released by Eels, looks like he’ll be heading to the Dragons.
Probably means Doueihi is here in 2025.

Not sure if true but seen a report Rorters releasing May. They’re up to something, nobody is safe.

Hopefully they’re making space for Doueihi 😂

We should recruit both May boys
Yes, but we need roster spots to do it and it seems some players are proving difficult to re-home.

Kobe Hetherington’s management will hold urgent talks with new Brisbane coach Michael Maguire to determine his future at the Broncos.
Sport Confidential can reveal Hetherington’s manager Chris Haddad will fly north to Brisbane next week to meet with Maguire to thrash out whether the tough-tackling forward has a future at Red Hill.
Hetherington is off-contract next season and was given permission by the Broncos six weeks ago to talk to rival clubs.
The 25-year-old officially becomes a free agent from tomorrow and has interest from a number of NRL rivals, including the Dragons and Wests Tigers.
Hetherington’s preference is to stay at the Broncos, but the son of Queensland Origin legend Jason is seeking a regular starting spot and is stuck behind Pat Carrigan in the battle for the No.13 jumper.
“We’re going to meet with Michael Maguire next week to see where we are at,” Haddad confirmed.
Asked if leaving is an option, Haddad said: “100 per cent it is.
“It’s 50-50 right now.
“We’re a chance of staying but we’re also a chance of leaving depending on how the meeting goes with Madge.”
Maguire has indicated he wants to keep Hetherington at the Broncos, but if he can’t guarantee more game time, the Queensland Origin hopeful could make a move to Sydney.
“Kobe has interest from a couple of clubs, including the Tigers,” Haddad said.
“He loves the Broncos and ideally he would want to stay, but Kobe wants a regular starting spot like any player and that’s tough when you have Pat Carrigan playing 13.
“We’ve agreed to meet next week.
“The Broncos have given us permission to look around but if they don’t give us permission to leave, then we can’t get any formal offers.”

Canterbury have sacked Josh Addo-Carr after he returned a positive result to cocaine at a roadside police drugs test in September.
Addo-Carr fronted the Bulldogs board at a meeting at Belmore Sports Ground on Thursday afternoon after receiving a breach notice.

A lot of ins and outs and what have you's at the moment. We need some movement in our roster otherwise we will miss out. Despite his last name, Terrell May would be a great addition but worried why Roosters have let him go.
I'd think that's a big chance of happening.Just pay out the kids like tumeth, surely their deals are minimum
Terrell is currently touring with Jerome as his captain so I'm sure he would be in his ear if he wanted him on board. We should recruit both May boys
