Get this one done please.

Exactly what we need. Shame it would be for 2026.

We have to be working on 26 now as well, but I think sign him for 26 and he will want to come in 25.

Offer the Knights Sullivan for next year to see if they will allow us to make him an offer before Nov 1 and take him early. They are on the lookout for new halves right? A player swap might be the best way for Tigers to get him in 25 and offer him more money earlier and keep other bigger clubs from competing against us for 26.

I believe Tartak is the manager of both Sullivan and Thompson?

Ironically, the man that could be standing in the way of this is Jackson Hastings who is refusing to move on from the Knights despite being unwanted.

Bud Sullivan is a good player and has lots of upside to him in a more mature team.

Newcastle would work for both of parties

newcastle has a heap of pressure on their coach.  Bud would be eaten alive.

Better player than Hastings IMO. Could work up there with Pongo the main playmaker/threat.

Sullivan isn’t a bad player, he just needs good coaching.

I agree with this 100%. Trouble is he has 3 in front of him at the moment. Great back up.

we need to get rid of him, but of the players we need to get rid of, he’s probably the one with the most upside.

It’s career suicide for Sullivan staying here and playing reserve grade for the next 3 years.

Sullivan should definately go to super league and carve up. We will pay a good amount of his salary so he won’t lose any money and he can go to a good team and win some premierships. He is not an NRL standard half. The pressure of NRL is so high these days, the young talented kids who aren’t the complete packages get chewed up and spat out. He doesn’t have the temperament to succeed in NRL which makes his recruitment so disappointing as it was obvious when he played for the dragons. He seems like a nice bloke and I hope he does well but his future is in the super league
