It’s time Sheens needs to move on immediately… the coaching structure is a total sham watching Farah in the box really what does this guy add to the team in general 3 wins all season there needs to be an experienced assistant there as results have proven it!!!Benjis reputation is being tarnished now with the ineffective way Sheens is coaching he is just going through the motions . Benji needs to make the decision if he wants the coaches job or not and take some real stoke of the situation ,next season will be ground hog day under Sheens and Benji might as well make the decision now . All Sheens is doing is throwing Benji under the bus . Sheens needs to be removed immediately! And Benji needs to take over as I doubt that will be happening moving forward .
Surely all this has to come to a head in the next week? We’re looking like a mess from the outside and this is hardly helping us with 2024 recruitment.

That team last year under Maguire could only scrape 2 fluke wins against under performing teams .
My guess after that , is they wanted to blood kimmorley for the WNRL team , and get his Baptism of fire under that .
that was the mistake . We should have run with Gardner . External of that is the team wasn’t built to win , and had no real clear pathway to ever achieving that .
The issue with sheens , is his game plan is pretty soundnin theory . Except much like the triangle offense in basketball , it can only really succeed with 1-2 players that are just dynamic and elite . Ala Benji and Robbie / Prince etc .
we don’t have that type of player except bula .
so now because the other teams know Waukegan can’t run , and offers nothing , outside of a decent short kick , they just slide onto the edge .
It was pretty much the same issue that we had when we didn’t have a fullback .
AD at the very least will/would keep the defence wondering if he was going to run .
This is why the offense isn’t working .
As for why the defence isn’t working . Well that’s simple . No trust , guys who’ve spent the whole season being told their now an edge back tower , being put in the wing , our best centre and 2 best wings , whether you like noffa or not , not being out there . Brooks being a very solid defender is a huge issue as that’s his side getting run up.
This isn’t to defend sheens . But to speak in such black and white rhetoric , and refer to people as fanboys , is so condescending and obtuse .
The plan had a small glimmer of hope at the start of the season , only to be dashed with all the injuries .
It has lead to the blooding of Da Silva , Tupou and Bula . But all are very young , very inexperienced and completely at the mercy of form and performance for confidence .
I’m not a sheens fan either , but I refuse to throw the baby out with the bath water until we see the full plan come to fruition .
This is what many people wanted in regard to Maguire , in regards to brooks , in regards to Noffa . And this is what they wanted last time sheens was here.
It’s like you’re all saying “ oh I wanted brooks/Maguire/noffa gone , but I didn’t mean this “ …. It’s why Jedi was railing so hard for brooks and I wasn’t too far behind him .
The sheer short sightedness of many people , and how they get trapped in the moment , kills me .
Im all for all of those People to be gone , and as sad as it is , including brooks . But I also wasn’t naive enough to think that we weren’t going to fall in a massive heap .
When people like you start advocating for sheens gone you change the narrative from Pascoe to sheens , and I do not under any circumstances believe sheens is the main issue .
I believe the main issue is we have a CEO who whilst really good with money , is still a Victorian .
I remember playing touch and footy with many of them , and they all thought they were superstars , yet couldn’t pass ran into other peoples space and took forever to play the ball . They had no insight into the finer nuances of the game , even though they thought they were experts .
I firmly believe this is our main issue . It’s fine for building a strong financial club , but not for running a winning club .
Stop talking about sheens . He will be gone in a year .
