Yeah saw this one on his Twitter and thought is a pretty good perspective from a Wests Tigers supporter/journo.

All told, they've lost 58 games since the start of 2022. That's almost twice as many defeats as new signing Jarome Luai has suffered in the entirety of his seven-year NRL career.
😓 😐

Yeah we’re not brimmed full of smart players… we’ve purchased better players but I’m not sure much smarter. If that makes sense. We have a knack of finding ways to lose games.

I believe Bird and Jerome are "smart" players. However, I also believe a great deal of our issue in relation to smarts is influenced by fatigue and frustration. If we can get our wingers and centres carting the ball back on the first few hit ups and our forward and halves finish the set on the front foot, it will take an enormous amount of fatigue out of the team. It will hopefully lead to more energy in defense and better decision making at the end of sets. Our fundamental issue has been the lack of meters on the first 3 hit ups...fix that and everything will flow better off the back of it. Players like Hunt and May will also make a big difference wrestling momentum back, we have not had a forward that could do that for some time now. Hunts 20mins of bash and barge could well be the difference for us in a few games this year.Yeah we’re not brimmed full of smart players… we’ve purchased better players but I’m not sure much smarter. If that makes sense. We have a knack of finding ways to lose games.
