Madge is a genius… sign him up for another 3 years.
Maybe not another 3 years, But if we exceed expectations and continue to see an improvement in Club culture, I would give Madge another year with the new players and a full squad.
You can't do that based on 1 good performance. At this stage yesterday was an anomaly. If we play like that consistently for another 5 or 6 weeks it might change my position but right now i'm still firmly in the sack Madge camp.
I keep focussing on our defence ...they don't hang in their in the 1st 20 like they did and late in the game when they were all seizing up with cramping if they aren't playing for the side and the coach ...yes Parra had 2 soft tries yesterday ...but we were probably a B defensively overall
I thought they played well yesterday, but one game doesn't make up for three and a bit years of decline. If they can do that repeatedly i'll change my view.
If you take out the Sharks game ( which after the Titans game was always going to be hard to get up for ....) the defence has been OK .....

I think we defended really well yesterday and in the first half against the Storm. I think the Knights and Cronulla were both really poor performances. Titans and Warriors was hard to gauge because their attack was awful.
Let's see how we go this Saturday. Souths have a pretty potent attack, if we can limit their points then maybe we have turned the corner. Looking forward to the game.
