Lee Hagipantelis has held the position of Wests Tigers Chairman for 2.5 years. How would you rate his performance so far?

Nofa loves him ...apart from that .....

Rather he'd be a silent contributor .....don't think he is real rugby league savvy ...can cause more issues than this club needs at the moment

Completely in it for himself, massive ego. Sponsor should not be chair.

His apparent insistence on a 4 year extension for Nofo is unforgivable.

average has no rugby league clout so when we had Pascoe, Lee H and Hartigan going into recruitment negotiations it was the three wise men...no wonder we missed out on everyone no rugby league credibility.

Look what happens when it was just Madge and Sheens we have clout and we sign Papali and Api

Lee loves the spotlight but his sponsorship is handy to have but should not be chairman

Lee is actually pretty highly regarded in RL circles as a result of his wide spread sponsorship of RL.

I am thankful that Lee is a major sponsor (though think the big black splodge on our jersey is ugly, we could easily have had a more attractive design that didn’t require it to dominate the jersey - think Manly, rooster or Dogs). But he absolutely not be the chair, it’s a clear conflict of interest and shows how weak the club is (dependent on outside $). The fact that you would include a fanboy in contract negotiations is beyond idiotic.

Spot on, having the major sponsor as the Chairman reduces autonomy/independence that little bit more in an ownership/governance structure that is (almost) entirely undemocratic.

Neutral for me. It’s hard to find someone who has good practical experience, is well connected and prepared to provide material financial support. That entitles him to be the chair, but performance is a separate issue. There have been some wins off the field, as well as plenty of mistakes which he needs to learn from.
