If they are already on the path to fix it (Sheens, pathways, etc) then the board and CEO need to do a much better job in outlining the story and the vision.

That is exactly what I said on the pod on Sunday.

It was a great point

The club could take all the heat out of the situation if they came out and described the plan out of this and into success.

It would importantly allow fans to be part of the solution. I don't get the feeling that the club has recognised the emotional position of our fan base.

We seriously need some help in the PR department.

We obviously aren’t sending the message strongly enough then.

Depends what emotion you are trying to send.

In what way are the club demonstrating and showing that they understand?

If things don’t change people will start ringing and cancelling memberships and boycotting sponsors I reckon. There’s been some talk of these strategies on other platforms.

The reason the club hasn’t described the plan is because there isn’t one.

All we are doing at the moment is reacting to events and lurching from one crisis to another.

The idea that there is any kind of plan in motion here is fanciful nonsense.

I think the point being made was that the club could defuse the current situation by revealing the plan but they can’t reveal a plan that doesn’t exist.

I’m really starting to get frustrated at the lack of clarity around Sheens role. We seem to know a lot about what he doesn’t do and very little about what he does.

His first input seems to have been turning down Brooks request for a release to join Newcastle, a decision which looks more unfathomable with each passing week.

At the risk of getting into semantics the “if” was referring to if the club revealed the plan and not if there actually was one.
