Pascoe - I was hamstrung by a meddling board that wanted to make all the decisions.

Next minute - the club is in a great position, primed for success.

To be fair he was talking about what he has been up to and using that time this year to spend it with his kids.

Fair enough. Context definitely helps with that one.

Surprised we dont have a topic to discuss Richo.....

he is certainly saying all the right things. In particular I think he is politely throwing Pascoe & Lee under the bus with regards to "telling the truth". Interesting that we are the "lowest paying membership" club in Sydney

Yeah surprised me with those membership numbers. He also clarified a bit by saying that being a member didn’t necessarily mean buying season tickets.

I’ve been a paid member for many years and I live in Rockhampton.

He also cryptically said that we had a too much fillet instead of rump within the club.

IMO gave clear insights into the way the club has been run and what needs to change. Telling the truth seemed to be a common theme. Also pointed comment that the club is not financially doing well and is losing money when it is granted the money to run the club.

We are in good hands with the right man to steer the ship. Hope he stays the journey.

@cqtiger

Im not surprised about the fudging of the Numbers of Paid up Members by the previous Management.

This is disgraceful.

Thank God Richo is here now

Richo absolutely throws Pascoe and Lee under the bus. You love to see it.

the lowest paying membership is a big worry

it could be fatal if the club jumps all in on CSS or LO as a venue they might lose plenty of members. The next few years we need to stick  to CSS and LO and see if we can bring some members back.

We had 9000 free memberships for children and the rest mostly split as only 4 games across the 3 home grounds. The return on that membership is atrocious. If we were at one home ground your return per membership is much higher as you are selling a 12 game pass not a 4 game pass. For all his rhetoric around commercial success, Richo has clearly showed how poorly the club was being run.

Strongly disagree with this and believe it is a case of strongly diminishing returns. A 12 game membership is going to be 3 x the cost of a  4 game membership. Not all paid members would be able to get to 12 games and therefore might not fork out for any membership rather pay 3 x as much. Could possibly reduce member numbers. There already is an option to purchase a 12 game membership and my bet is not that many more would jump at the added cost based purely on 1 home ground, particularly if its perceived as the "wrong" ground.

@jedi-tiger The club has made a huge mistake by putting all there eggs into 2 x suburban grounds that are not fit to host NRL… if the team hits its straps 16k attendance is a joke and again locking its supporters out and loosing  heaps of revenue .The two individuals that made this decision are gone and hopefully in the  not to distant future so will these two grounds ,hopefully the CEO will rectify this and guide the club out of  the living in the past mentality .The new membership numbers are a concern not to be unexpected .

Where do you think we should play?
