I don’t know much about their managers but if it isn’t Moses that’s fine. The thing about Lane too is he’s a 200 gamer, was Eels player of the year 2022 but had a couple of setbacks last year. He’s coming to the end of his career but would still plug a hole if needed& would be a terrific mentor for the likes of Sukkar & Godinet should he find that something he’d enjoy. No idea what his intentions are post 2026 but if he desires to play on he’d need to play well that year, so there’d be an extra incentive if he wanted another contract at a club.@tigertownsfs I think KPP is a quality player and probably the best we could hope for in exchange. He is off contract which would streamline a move.
I know KPP used to be managed by Jai Ayoub but he needed to get himself a new manager when Ayoub became recruitment manager at Canterbury (same situation as Jahream Bula)
Lane has been rubbish since he returned from injury, I rated him quite highly previously, however seems to have gone backwards...in fact the whole team seems to have gone backwards individually...is this the development that Galvin is looking for? I would prefer Lachie sits on the bench for 18 months unless im getting a Tino/Haas/Olakuato/Critta type player in return. KPP has some upside, however we could sign him now for next season, and you would expect if he was interested it would have nothing to do with Galvin going to parra. Maybe if they give us Lomax and Junior Paulo, pay their salary for the next 3 years than yes.
I only used Lane as an example & I tried to give reasons why he might be ok. I really can’t see any Eels players I like besides Lomax to be fair & they wouldn’t part with him. So you might be right, keep Galvin in Cup. I did hear the analyst on Jimmy Smith show say something about a temporary swap deal with Panthers, similar to Harry Grant & Momorovski deal a few years ago. Panthers could do with Galvin right now & maybe we could get To’o over here all with a view to a permanent deal but if not just this year. This sounds better to me although I’d feel a little sorry for Skelton as he’d be the one to drop back. But from our point of view it’s probably the best we could do.Lane has been rubbish since he returned from injury, I rated him quite highly previously, however seems to have gone backwards...in fact the whole team seems to have gone backwards individually...is this the development that Galvin is looking for? I’m unsure how it’d work contract wise as To’o on more than Galvin but pretty sure something could be worked out to suit both parties eg Panthers paying the difference.
There’s no one at the Eels currently that interests me other than Lomax.

@jedi-tiger Plenty of wingers ,need more grunt up front …Fr/Sr .My idea if it gets to that $1million transfer fee!
The thing with To’o is he’s probably the best at getting sets started in the comp thus making it easier to roll downfield, also a helluva finisher. Skelton is good but To’o is probably in a class of his own in this regard. At the end of the day (doing my best Richo) these are just all possibilities, guesses at what the club could possibly look at.@jedi-tiger Plenty of wingers ,need more grunt up front …Fr/Sr .My idea if it gets to that $1million transfer fee!

We have Turuva and Skelton as first choice wingers. Then Laulilli. Then Staines. Then possibly faatape or Naden if needed.
why on earth would we want To'o?
The suggestion was a temporary swap. I agree we don’t really need To’o but he is better than Skelton although he’s doing a really good job. Thinking about this the last half hour or so I’m not sure who would actually be more beneficial to the Panthers anyway, To’o back from injury or Galvin who would take a few weeks to fit in. It probably doesn’t advantage either team all that much so I’d think Richo will be looking at other options.I like that idea a loan deal

Admired Benji today at the press conference. Straight up and honest responses.
Romey & Api presser was good as well.
Do we still have Staines? Luke is still learning the role & Faataape is, well he’s Faataape. Nado is good & hopefully will be at his best now he’s fought his way back in.I like that idea a loan deal

because he is better than all of them, we would have basically another forward coming out of our end and a good finisher
or galvin stays in reserve grade and we don't get anyone for this year.
