big difference is he would have 2 exceptional players in the spine in turbo and galvin. The best year he had at tigers he had moses at 6 and tedesco at 1
Also wanting to block Onitoni Large’s path, a Moses client too I believe so highly doubtful Manly would be in for Lachie.Another team in the mix for Galvin could well be Manly if DCE retires or moves to dolphins or roosters
The coach being a Moses client and they would have a premiership window unlike parramatta
7. Brooks
6. Galvin
1. Turbo
So Brooks back to 7?? Football suicide!
brooks 2 more years at manly perfect transition for Large (will be 20) to partner galvin

I like Brooks and he is a very good 6. But he's not a 7 and never will be.
I wonder if Galvin will get booed at Lidcombe?
I would completely ignore him, don't cheer or boo, go quiet and turn your backs to him if he scores a try or takes a hit up. He is dead to us.I wonder if Galvin will get booed at Lidcombe?
The reason behind Jarome Luai’s reported frustration with Lachlan Galvin’s Tigers snub has been laid bare while stats have come to light of the teen sensation’s rapid improvement under Benji Marshall.
Galvin won’t extend his contract with the club to instead test his value on the open market and his Tigers teammates have expressed their displeasure in recent days via social media.
Luai was one of those, writing ‘Team First’ on an Instagram story soon after the Galvin news broke.
The NRL360 panel discussed why Luai would be feeling disappointed and let down by Galvin’s decision.
Co-host Braith Anasta says that Luai has had sacrifice and change his game to facilitate Galvin’s playing style.
“You watch the games this year and it stands out more. I’m thinking, ‘gee, he’s changed the way he’s played this year Jarome’,” Anasta said.
“He is very controlled, his kicking game is on point, his game management has been superb so he’s put his ego aside this year for Lachlan Galvin and the way Galvin wants to play and that’s what builds so much emotion here.
“We’ve got a four-time premiership winner going to a club and putting his ego aside and playing a different style of footy to keep a 19-year-old happy.
“Jarome’s been the steady head so he’s gone, you know what, team first mentality, team first mentality whereas the other kid has been the opposite and that’s been shown by the reaction to all of this.”
While there have been plenty who disagree, including Panthers great Greg Alexander, Anasta said he has no problem with Luai’s social media post.
“Jarome has copped so much over the years and I think he’s proven everyone wrong, even before coming to the Tigers.
“I think he’s earned the right.”
Having Luai beside him this season has taken Galvin’s game to a new level, which makes the young playmaker’s decision even harder to understand.
“Lachlan Galvin has actually played this year like Jarome at the Panthers. He’s drifting around, playing off the cuff, making errors but coming up with big plays,” Anasta said.
Galvin is reportedly on his way out because he believes he’ll develop better at a new team and under a new coach.
However, stats show that Galvin has already improved rapidly under Tigers coach Benji Marshall.
According to the Fox Sports Lab, in the first 15 games of his career under Marshall, Galvin recorded eight try assists, nine line break assists and averaged 140 kick metres a game.
In his previous 12 games, those numbers spiked significantly. In that span, Galvin has recorded 15 try assists (over one per game), 11 line break assists and has averaged 213 kick metres.
NRL legend Gorden Tallis, who believes Galvin’s decision is about the money and not the coaching, says the stats clearly point to a playmaker who is improving his craft under the current regime he’s in.

lol this is laughable
Galvin’s camp is a joke. They have led him astray. He is an adult though and so needs to suck it up and take responsibility for what’s coming.check out lachlan galvin on the Fan last night interview from early this year praising Bebji's coaching

The strategy was pretty clear: keep the tigers on the back burner and then tell them at the end of this year that they have signed away and then agitate for release. Richo blew the plan up by demanding a response to their huge offer and when the answer was “I don’t even want to see it” Richo releases the statement and the rest is history. I do think now that it will be the Eels where he ends up and that it has been planned for a while given they didn’t fight very hard to keep Brown. The NRL needs to look into what the Eels did to entice Galvin because it is clear they have been tampering with him for quite a while. From Moses’ perspective he is highly motivated to get Galvin to the eels and brown to the knights asap given Mitch is now back and the Knights (under Moses client O’Brien) are in free fall. The big question is what is in it for the Tigers. Whilst the Moses camp has done a good job weaponising the social media scandal to turn some sympathy towards Galvin (even from the podcast which is surprising - this is all manipulation) I highly doubt that Richo is susceptible to this type of pressure. He will negotiate aggressively and if there is something we really want I assume a deal will get done and quickly in order to protect our season and move on. I really hope we have a great win this weekend to quieten the anti tigers rhetoric that is building (“the tigers have ruined their season by dropping Galvin” etc) and that next week there is a deal for a piece of the squad that we need going forward. The bright side of this entire drama is that Luai can really be the dominant half going forward and our cap is going to be in excellent shape to keep adding the quality members that we need to become a regular top 8 contender.
Looking at the Knights and Eels squads and there is very very little there that I would have any interest in. Both these teams seem a very long way from being competitive again. Kai Pearce Paul is ready to go now and so I can see the attraction of maybe brining him in (although he seems to play on the left and it’s a RHS 2RF that we need).
I’m vindictive. I’d let him languish in Ron Massey Cup for the next 18 months. It’s no release from me.

Same, unless a deal comes up that favours us.

Pearce-Paul played on the right edge last Sunday & was a bit of a handful at times, not bad for first game back with ordinary halves combo. Not sure how many halves combos he’s had to play outside there but would be quite a few I assume. If you get Lane from Eels (example) for 18 months when his contract is up & Eels pay full freight & get Pearce-Paul you’re essentially getting the 2 for the price of Pearce-Paul. You could possibly front load him & have a crack at a quality middle should one become available or a centre for next year. Assuming it’s the Eels who want Galvin, they could certainly do with a big name signing. The strategy was pretty clear: keep the tigers on the back burner and then tell them at the end of this year that they have signed away and then agitate for release. I'm Not vindictive, I don't forget who hurts me.
Above everything I want to win games.
Galvin is in the side for mine but I will prioritise Latu Fainu
Just had a Quick Look at how many halves pairings Pearce-Paul has played outside at Knights in his 26 games and it’s at more than 6. Gamble, Hastings, Pryce, Cogger, Crossland, Sharpe have all played in the halves at some point, might’ve missed one or two more as well.
@tigertownsfs I think KPP is a quality player and probably the best we could hope for in exchange. He is off contract which would streamline a move.
I know KPP used to be managed by Jai Ayoub but he needed to get himself a new manager when Ayoub became recruitment manager at Canterbury (same situation as Jahream Bula)
