Still on the cards mate?
Or have things changed since you got your info?
I had word that the club was confident a deal was imminent. Something has changed.

Probably the Dylan Brown news back when his manager put the call out...Moses and the Galvin family likely wanted to see what another high profile/potential 5/8 could get. So they will probably work back from his deal in their negotiations.Have the wheels fallen off

red flag
More indication that anti-tampering rules are ineffective.

Yeah, there’s an illusion of it being policed but so long as self interest is at heart (common in this game) it won’t be stopped.
I’m surprised there aren’t betting markets - who will Galvin sign with etc.

The only thing you can't do is " formally table an offer".
Nothing to stop it all being done in principle and agreed to until it can be formalised in due course...

Tigers just need to be calm and show that we are a club on the UP by winning games.
Good players will stay.
Just listening to a pod and Lachie’s fitness was raised as a selling point. I concur fully with this. As a club in you need your squad to be super fit, the modern game calls for it, and Lachie is arguably one of the fittest guys in the NRL. Look at what Terrell Maychine is doing right now, he’s obviously very fit running marathons or half marathons etc. Lachie will set the bar for this club should he stay and that’s vitally important to future success.

Reports say big WT offer incoming for Galvin, will see if this is about $ or something else soon.

It won’t be about dollars & I’d be shocked if Lachie & his management would sign anything long term. But it’s a no brainer to me to sign an extension of a year, preferably two so that the squad has time to stabilise & improve. By that time he will know if he can win a premiership here & that’s what he wants. And we will hopefully get the first 100 games of his career. After that who knows. That’s my 2c worth anyway.Just listening to a pod and Lachie’s fitness was raised as a selling point. I concur fully with this. Locking up Da Silva would probably help with Galvin
Another team in the mix for Galvin could well be Manly if DCE retires or moves to dolphins or roosters
The coach being a Moses client and they would have a premiership window unlike parramatta
7. Brooks
6. Galvin
1. Turbo
I don’t think Lachie is worried about how much Brown is getting, his manager might be but not Lachie. If you could convince Lachie to extend a couple of years for around the $1 million mark he would be 23 at the end of that with approx 10 years left. As the Cap increases, as it will substantially, he could easily make another $12 million if playing great footy, he’d make $15 million over his career. Getting him to sign now for a couple of extra years isn’t about money imo, although we’d obviously need to provide a substantial upgrade given who his manager is.
This kind of deal would also allow Lachie to develop that combo with Romey over the next 4 years, surely enabling him to further develop his own game. And if he makes $2.5-3 million by the time he’s 23 I think his parents would be chuffed for him.

So Brooks back to 7?? Football suicide!
Also wanting to block Onitoni Large’s path, a Moses client too I believe so highly doubtful Manly would be in for Lachie.Another team in the mix for Galvin could well be Manly if DCE retires or moves to dolphins or roosters
