Rob is 100% right in this pod. The issue with Gould is that he has been tampering in the contract negotiations of Galvin. Ryles did the same thing. Galvin was perceived as the best young half coming through and these big clubs threw out the rule book to extract him from a weak club like Wests. That is what the NRL needs to address
Is it wrong that I take great joy in reading these headlines and articles. My view is that Ciraldo was not interested in Galvin and Gould forced it on him. Gould has missed out on a few big scalps, 2 in particular to us (luai and May) so he was determined to satisfy his ego and get one back, to the point that he was blinded as to whether or not its the right outcome for the dogs.
The Galvin era at Wests Tigers is now over. Official announcement incoming.

Goodbye Lachlan. Goodbye anyone who wants to behave like Lachlan in the future.
The TDS noise is quite annoying. It’s not clear to me that he would be a starting 80min 9 at any club in the NRL. Why on earth would he blow up his clear path to starting 9 once Api retires. Very disappointing
What the hell is this?

You’d think it’s proof deals have been made and contracts signed. If so, why not announce it?

Maybe the club is so over it that they are not even going to bother announcing he has gone....it would be like stating the obvious.
Wests Tigers and Lachlan Galvin have mutually agreed to an immediate conclusion of his playing contract.
Shane Richardson said: “We wish Lachlan all the best with another NRL Club.”
Lachlan Galvin said: “I am grateful to the Wests Tigers Board and Management for granting my early release. I wish the playing group success in the future.”

You could very easily assess the temperature of this statement 🥶 no good luck to Benji. What a prat.

I cannot believe how much of a spoilt brat he comes across as
@helmesy Really? You're reading a lot into that Galvin comment about not mentioning Marshall.
The result this weekend v Cowboys will give a more clear picture of the future of the club under Marshall as head coach. I'm hoping it's a competitive effort by WT.
Can we close this thread now please. Don’t want to hear another word about the prat.

I hope to bag him as the Dogs season implodes.
