Media spinning this as a Benji cant coach and Luai is a bully...reality is the kid wanted out and requested a release before Benji was the coach and Luai even signed with us. Whether the reason for the most recent release is the same as it was back then its hard to say, however the writing was already on the wall and Benji bent over backwards to keep him happy and develop him into first grade. for him to call out a lack of development and take legal action over bullying, well he (his manager) is a cancer that needs to be cut out sooner rather than later. It was crap that we dropped him and bloody Moses came out and played like an immortal to beat us...if we had won that game he is probably still playing in reserves and there is no way we win it with him on the field anyway.

Gould was very lame in a well rehearsed interview on 9s Sunday footy show this afternoon. Even to the point when talking about Galvin he said he's something like 6foot 2 I think. As if he hasn't had all that data and stats on his desk for weeks now.

I don't think that's good enough. We are paper thin as it stands. I know there's a month to go before the 2025 deadline, but it really looks like poor series of decisions thus far. As someone else pointed out, the previous regime would be getting pelters for this.

Improving, yes. However not just grabbing blokes that are ordinary to show we are doing something. I don't think too many have surfaced that we missed out on over the last few weeks/months...things should start ramping up now in terms of mid season moves. I think the KPP signing is delayed because we may be able to get him immediately if newcastle can snag young. Looks like dogs are dumping reed so that's potentially going to shake up a few rosters as a number of clubs need an experienced 9.
