I feel there's a positive scenario somehow where Galvin stays...

It's interesting how the media narrative has shifted from "a show of strength by the Tigers" to "a bullying culture by some at the Tigers".  Isaac Moses and Shane Richardson are as culpable as each other in that shift, IMO.

mate, it’s just Riccio and Read. They are on Moses’ payroll

Stefano has gone backwards since moving to storm to raise his game, he was lazy and uninterested against dolphins, hope Lachie picks the right club to develop him.

Stefano is the big kid who stood out because he was bigger and stronger earlier, but everyone else has now caught up.

he has it in him to be destructive, however storm use him as a decoy runner more often than not. He doesn't seem to have much interest in doing that, very half hearted decoy running from him.

The secret meeting that sparked Benji Marshall–Isaac Moses feud

Danny Weidler
Sport columnist
April 20, 2025 — 5.45am

Benji Marshall versus Isaac Moses is currently one of the biggest feuds in rugby league, but the reason they have fallen out has remained a secret – until now.

Marshall, through his brilliant media performance on Thursday, is winning the public relations battle. The problem is Moses doesn’t care about that, and Marshall is likely to lose the Lachlan Galvin war. It appears it is now up to Marshall and CEO Shane Richardson as to how many people are wounded or killed off, from a professional standpoint, in the process. At the core of it all is the Marshall-Moses feud.

The Wests Tigers have slammed suggestions that Lachlan Galvin has been the victim of workplace bullying after it was revealed he wants to leave the club.
Neither side is volunteering the source of the dispute. Marshall’s people say it may be because of the coach’s need to stand up to Moses, and more recently because of the nature of the John Bateman and David Klemmer exits from the Tigers. Both of those men are Moses clients.
But it’s deeper than that. My sources say it stems back to a secret meeting between Marshall, Mitchell Moses, Tim Sheens and Isaac Moses in early 2023.
That meeting was held when Mitchell Moses was negotiating his contract and exploring the idea of a return to the Tigers. At the meeting, Isaac Moses believed Benji’s body language and attitude towards Sheens was disrespectful.
It was not raised at the meeting. Instead, Moses let him know as much via a phone call the next day, and Marshall told him what he thought of that viewpoint in a direct way. The pair have been off each other since.
Moses would not be drawn on the matter when we asked for comment. It has been suggested to me that Sheens and Marshall are no longer close.
Marshall has the strong backing of his team in the battle with Galvin and Moses, but he may have reason for concern. Moses’ list of grievances with the club regarding Galvin is said to contain at least 15 points.
Marshall is aware of some of them, and there are some very damaging claims which he will challenge strongly. He may even wish to consider enlisting the help of lawyers. It has the potential to derail Wests Tigers’ season.
Marshall will be wondering how things changed so quickly with Galvin. About six months ago, he asked me not to write about him going to dinner with the Galvin family as part of the wooing process.

It was a very positive experience, but the coach didn’t want the information to be made public as the conversations were ongoing and he was worried about harming the relationship.

That’s now small fry compared to what’s happened. Marshall may be fighting for his coaching life if the season goes south on the back of this dispute.

Another weird angle. Moses didn’t like Benjis body language to sheens? Bizarre. Why on earth Bula signed with this grub is beyond comprehension

Richo responds to Galvin rumours

The pressure on Lachlan Galvin was ramped up a month ago – he was told that unless he was going to commit to the club long term, he was facing time in reserve grade. He was rattled.

This has been documented and was dealt with by CEO Shane Richardson. He defused the situation at the time and tried to rectify what had been said to Galvin by others at the club.

But what will become an issue is that Galvin has not been part of “spine” meetings, and has been removed at times from wrestling sessions. That annoyed other players, but it was not Galvin’s call.

“It’s absolute rubbish ... this is part of a smear campaign of a legend of the club. Benji deserves more respect. I don’t know why you blokes believe this stuff. What I will say is that this won’t work – Lachlan Galvin will not be getting a release,” he said.

These are just some of the problems at the Tigers. And they won’t be the major points in his move to get out of the club on the terms of being arguably in a workplace that’s unsafe to continue working in.

I feel like the Galvin camp is about to go nuclear on the “unsafe workplace “ angle

Trying to swing the narrative by appealing to people's love of Sheens.

I think benji had already set up the narrative to blow the bullying claims out of the water.

We just have to ensure no one breaks ranks and we also win tomorrow.

a big win is important for the fans but Moses will still run with bullying angle. Parra basket case makes it even more essential that he gets Galvin there asap.

This is desperate, pathetic stuff. Zero gravitas to any of these so-called accusations. That Weidler is leading with some alleged body language issues gives you and idea of how little grounds they have for complaint.

I'm sure the muckrakers in the media will continue to publish Moses press releases nevertheless.
