@helmesy Everything will come out in the wash .. if there is more to this it will come out . There is obviously more to this as the club would not sack someone contracted that is so young for being late for two training sessions . Got a laugh with that article it was 10% about Miller and 90% about the other guy ! Maybe there is a tougher edge at the club now no more crap from the playing group  a standard has been set  after 3 spoons no complaints! I was wondering when Brydens was gone for good only a few more days thank god .

That seems a little harsh… if Luai is late twice will they tear up his contract too?

Setting standards, and Luai is a professional.

The guy who skipped training altogether when he was in contract talks?

Penrith knew what was going on. He didn’t ‘skip’ training.

@mike his manager said he was skipping training… at the time there was bad blood, widely reported at the time.

My point is if we’re going to hold a kid to account like this, I would hope it’s across everyone, including the coach.

Are you saying Benji arrives late to training?

The kid was gifted a top 30 contract as a teenager. Insane roster management from Pascoe and Lee and if the kid is not showing the broad commitment of a first grader then we should cut our losses. Front row is the position that we need to improve over the off season and if this kid is wasting a spot and has breached his contract then that’s on him. He was employed as a professional player. The fact that Lee is representing him just confirms that Lee will never be welcomed back to the club which is also a great thing. Win win

It's 100% about attitude to training.

Yeah for sure, but sounds like they wanted to get rid of him. I don’t blame him for going legal.

Might need a better lawyer.

Lol, Lee is absolutely loaded. Might not be a good chairman but I don’t think anyone could question his success in business. And I can’t stand the guy btw.

He’s a terrible lawyer

Yep, and taking this case is a sign he struggles to undertake good critical thinking. A real professional would assess this situation and think through how poorly this makes you look given the history and refer the case on.

Him taking the case confirms everything we already knew about this guy.

It was a load of rubbish by his manager. No bad blood at all. All media hype.

It’s about setting standards. The kid is just not up to it. Because of his size he got away with it in the juniors, now he’s playing with men, size alone just won’t cut it anymore. To be honest I’m happy to see the end of him.

Looking at the way our team was prepared I assumed he never turned up at all.

His experience with the Wests Tigers. When push comes to shove, he folded every time. He’s all show and a bully.

I don't think I questioned his success in business. There are plenty of questions surrounding his actions as a lawyer though.
