This is going to be a tough period without spine players and Samuela.

Actually, worse than we thought. Club advises the following.

AD 6 weeks.

Samuela 12 weeks - we basically need to sort a replacement for the season...

Masi 3 weeks.

This will be a big test of Luai's leadership. The Api recklessness in getting suspended is also a big influence on the next couple of games. He was sorely missed v Sharks.

Not the first time either. I mean, we need him as much or more than anyone but he really needs to get the dangerous tackles out of his repertoire.

See below for those wondering about shoulder injury management in the case of Jahream and AD.Β

I would say its positive that AD shoulder went straight back in. I would also assume that when Jahream returns he will pass off on kick returns. His value to us is in broken field and attacking plays rather than hit ups from the back?Β

It's from Code Sports. Also saying Twal still needs to pass fitness test this week before cleared to playΒ

Api will be back this season, he’s out for 4 weeks.

Regarding the broader injury discussion on the latest pod, I’d be reluctant to bring up too many players from cup. The NRL season is gone, but the Magpies are going ok and only 2 points off 4th place. Better to keep them strong and try to get a decent finishing result for the club.
