Team news

The Wests Tigers have been handed a big blow with international centre Taylan May set for an extended sideline stint due to a shoulder injury. According to Code Sports, May will be sidelined until Round 8, missing more then a month of football. Sunia Turuva could cover the centres while Jeral Skelton will make the move to wing - the same thing that happened when May was injured on Saturday. Meanwhile, the condition of fellow centre Starford To’a also remains unclear after he was unavailable for selection for Round 2 and if fit he could slot into May’s position.

To me what’s unclear is to as why To’a did not have surgery in the off season to correct his arm/shoulder problems. Surely after he was extended last season, this makes no sense 🤷‍♂️. Do we even know whether he’s picked up another injury or what? It’s a strange case ‼️

The word seems to be that Doueihi had hamstring tightness and might be ok for next week.

Looks like this thread will be getting a workout this season. We had the gods on our side last year, not so sure this season though.

Hopefully we get the injuries out of the way early and then make a big run to the finals 🤞🤞🤞

From the vision I saw, he was in way more pain than just tightness!

Yeah it looked a lot worse than just tightness. I would be surprised if it’s not a lengthy recovery.

Yet again. And, just after accepting a contract extension offered by the club. That's the same club that can't ice a contract extension for the best talent they have, in Jahream Bula. Beggars beleif.

If AD plays, then who comes in for Luai?

If fit, I think Benji would play Latu at 14.

Would Madden play 6?

Yep, 100% it will be Madden.

So AD has been named to play... wowsers, from the pain on his face last weekend I thought the hammy had been ripped off the bone!

Hopefully he is ok... and I wonder how far off Latu is?
