4 wins each in 2022 and 23, then 6 wins in 2024.

So, let’s put your prediction on the record. How many wins for our new look team in 2025?

I’m saying 11.

I’ll go 12 wins if we can stay relatively injury free 🤞

11 wins, lots of new faces and combinations, may be a bit of an up and down season.

I think only injuries will stop us from winning enough games to make the 8. How many is enough? Could be 12, 13 or 14. I’ll go with 13 which means it’ll go down to the last few rounds of footy. Can also see us having a poor run of results at some point but also expect we’ll have a good run which Jordan (and the rest of us) will be delighted with.

It’s a combination of not being fully sold on luai as the saviour we all hope he is, and scared that couple of injuries in key positions (2RF, fullback) could really test our depth. I really hope I’m wrong about luai…

On the flip side, we had such a bad run with the refs/poor discipline last year that impacted the result of a few games. Surely that can’t be repeated and we pick up a few games we threw away last year.

The elusive three wins on the trot!

Another poll could be how many wins will be enough for Marshall to keep his job?

We need to meet in a dark corner of a small room with a secret handshake acknowledging our alliance. I too have some reservations about Luai. I love his passion, commitment, drive, leadership and confidence. But deep down I worry he's a running 6 not an organising 7. (Where have we seen this scenario before?)

But I'm glad he have him - just not 100% convinced yet.

@skippa13 yes I’m in your camp about Jerome…it’s a different beast the wests Tigers. What I am hoping is our coach kicking up a stink if we get some terrible calls from the refs. Set a standard like T Payten did a couple of seasons ago.

Maybe 8 bare minimum

I take some heart from the TAB markets that have WT as only the third favourite for the 'most number of losses', with the Dragons and Raiders at shorter odds to lose more games.

But, finishing third last won't be good enough for Marshall's tenure I think. He has one more year of NRL head coaching behind him, he will be coaching a side with some genuine talent improvement in key positions (assuming they don't plateau like Ice, Bateman and Stefano did), and the likes of Galvin, Pole, Bula, Da Silva, and Fainus numerous all with a better understanding of NRL demands ....so it surely MUST be a better year for WT. Surely?!?

I always dislike this talk about Benji. I understand it to a point but anytime a player or coach is “under pressure” or he needs to do this or that to keep his or her job then they’re immediately under more scrutiny than they need to be. It’s much more of a concern for a club in the position the Tigers are. Fans who believe Benji isn’t the right man for the job are straight away looking for reasons to prove themselves correct, we all like to believe we know what is best because we don’t like to be wrong. I do it, we all do it. But at this club I don’t think it helps as anything we fans find isn’t working the media will also pounce upon and already heavy load we bare becomes heavier.
I know most will look at it as our right to criticise but as a club it’s probably best just to back everyone 100% & let Richo make his own judgements at season’s end.

@russtutty63 I don't believe anything I, or anyone else who posts on here, would be used by "media" as the basis for a pile-on of Marshall. The basic point of my post was that he's got a better squad than last year and he, and his staff, needs to coach and lead them to better results in 2025. It's not a prediction of whether he can/will or can't/won't. It's just reality.

No excuses for not getting a vast improvement.
