Campbletown is a pretty safe Labor seat so not sure if it will get much cash spent on it not many votes in it for the parties.

LO has a slim chance as it is a true community ground, as others have said soccer rugby union rugby league at junior and senior levels

CS has two professional trams playing out of it.

It's deserving of funding

that is say 2 professional teams

6 games of rugby league wests tigers

13 rounds of A league with Macarthurn Rams

so 19 games of professional sport at CSS

Penrith has 11 games of professional sport

Just can't see the government tipping in at CSS given it is Labor territory no votes in it.

The complaint about Penrith getting  a massive upgrade for 11 games is spot on the money but again a marginal electorate and plenty of votes in it. Interestingly Penrith has 11 nrl games and CSS would have 19 professional games so 8 games more.

Not saying CSS doesn't deserve an upgrade I just can't see a big upgrade happening at present

SOO affected, against out of town Storm, we are at the bottom of the ladder.

LO would of had similar.

It will be better next year when they start to give CS some decent games and hopefully we are competitive

Top 8 2023

I don’t know why we can’t drawer a bigger crowd. We have 20,000 members and supposedly many more casual fans.

Then again I wasn’t there tonight.

I knew it was going to be small but was surprised by how small. We were running late and got parking easily 10 minutes before kick off.

I was surprised too I know it was an out of town team but would have expected a little more.

Why’s everyone so surprised with the small crowd at Campbeltown last night it’s been happening for a while now.

the club needs to be very very careful if they move more than 50% of the games to CSS.

also as it was junior appreciation round there were heaps of kids (and parents) doing pass the ball comp and jumping castle etc before the game with the Tigers handing out free footballs.

I presume all the kids were counted in the 8,500 crowd too

@tigerlily It’s not going to end well as it was for the Magpies! The decision makers at the club are the same as the team at the moment Wooden spoon quality . There is no vision just trying to re write history …. Wanting to play out of  grounds that are not fit for purpose and begging for upgrades is fools gold .

100%. It’s like they want to cater to the noisy few. I can’t see how the club grows playing out of LO and CSS. It looks like an amateur club as well playing out of suburban grounds
