@the-last-ronin do you think we will get rid of Tamworth at some point mate ?
@jedi-tiger I think we should now however if we are generating a solid fan base in that community from our visits (which I doubt) I’d be open to keeping it.
I’d rather we try and establish an identity in Sydney before trying to expand to other areas.
@tiger5150 do you sit bear Garry mate ? I sit in bay 3 of the stand about 3 rows up. If you are around I will have to come abd say g'day at the cowboys game
Ive gotten in trouble for this before over at another forum, but I genuinely think its relevant. Please put your hand up if you have a membership for LO. Either as a LO membership or dual.
Jedi has already put his hand up and I know Garry does.
Mike?
Ronin?
SFS?
Celtic?Dirty Reds?
I dont raise this to be combative or anything. I raise it because I keep hearing that LO isnt up to standard, but as a LO member, I genuinely think it is the best RL experience in Sydney. The Members seats are the best, Ive never had a problem getting a drink, never had to queue for the bathroom and the parking is as good as any other ground.
This is a thread for discussion about these points and its obviously completely valid to have the opposite opinion to me but Im interested if that is backed up by experience as a member at LO because I actually dont understand how it works.
I'm a member at all grounds.

Those two exert about as much political pressure as a gnat. Its noise to pressure for government money.
@tiger5150 great mate, my daughter is 4 and still can't get over her favourite player Ken M leaving lol
maybe we might have a win by the cowboys game lol

Had the same experience with my 8 yo daughter when Lote left.
moral of the story, never let your daughters fall in love with a winger.

I'm a LO member and it is my favourite place to watch a game of footy by far. I love everything about it, the imperfections add to the overall charisma of the place.
I only have a GA membership at Leichhardt these days, given life gets in the way most weekends. I have access to CommBank and Accor via work too. Didn't go on Sunday but will hopefully get to at least one Campbo game.
Have had the full gamut in the past - seating at all grounds, mix and match etc. I quite liked the SFS period, but that coincided with us being very good so not really dependent on the venue itself. From memory it was pretty grim there in 2012 when we fell off a cliff.
I actually sympathise with the club on this situation. A lot of good suggestions in here, but most are far from perfect. I don't think we can ever give up Leichhardt given the prestige in which it's held, despite the lack of modernisation. I'd say the same re Campbo given we still don't seem to have an identity out there, but admittedly I'm not on the ground in the area.
But part of me wants us to just drop it all and go modern like Souths did. They play all their games at Homebush which is miles away from Redfern/Maroubra, and it doesn't hurt them in the slightest. They're about to move into a new training facility in Maroubra, so still have a local presence (I can vouch for this as I live in the area). The advantages of living out of a modern ground (basically Homebush/Moore Park/Parra) are pretty obvious when you look at the comparable corporate facilities.
Long story short, I've tried nothing and I'm all out of ideas.
@avocadoontoast where about are you at LO mate ?
