Really fantastic to see another home game being taken to Waikato in 2023 against the Warriors.

We now have

LO

CSS

Bankwest

Magic Round

Tamworth- are we not doing that in 2023 ?

Great giving a NZ game to New Zealand real smart guys let's give an opposition team a leg up

Yes we are playing in Tamworth in 2023. I don't really have a problem with this in 2023 when our home grounds are unavailable.

In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)

I've never had an issue with us taking a home game to regional parts of NZ for a Warriors game, we used to have a good record on those games and thought it was good to give a little back to NZ fans.

@tiger_alex with covid and a lack of home games the last 2 years it might have been nice to give something back to wests tigers season ticket holders too

All we get is 9 home games this year other teams get the full 12

It's a fair point. Why are we always the home team at Magic Round - purely for the $$? We've been told multiple times that this should no longer be a factor.

Similar go with NZ, seems we're sacrificing sporting advantage for $$.

I actually like the Tamworth thing - I think the NRL should mandate each NRL team to take an annual game to rural areas.

@dirty-reds I think if we didn't get magic round or the nz round then Tamworth is a good thing

@tiger5150 Parramatta or Roosters souths penrith are offering there fans the full 12 games we are only offering season ticket holders 9 home games. Not sure where they are playing but at least they all will have access.

We get games scattered to chase the almighty dollar

@jedi-tiger They should of played the NZ home game at Commbank if the others were unavailable which would be 4 home games there and the supporter base could actually have attended . But as the club really treat its supporter base with disdain and have so since the merger started nothing new about this ! The club have no idea about the home grounds it seems the Chairmen and the CEO are the  driving force about future home grounds this is going to be a disaster as was the Magpies .. some think the past repeated will be different !

One thing to make decisions based on finances, but we are already struggling for an identity and give up another home game. Crazy.

@helmesy The interesting situation about making decisions based on finances by the club is the decision to play out of Leichhardt and CS from 2024 IMO this will be a financial disaster ,the only way this club will survive financially and grow its supporter base is playing out of one of the 3 stadiums on offer ..the club needs to be very careful what they wish for . Offering sub standard stadiums and locking it’s own supporters out for big games will not end well !

Correct. Small time thinking from the admins.

That’s basically because they are fan boys and know very little about how to run a successful, read that winning, Rugby League club.

I was at the new SFS last night watching the soccer. We were seated where the 20 metre line would be for league, the view of the pitch was excellent.
