This is par for the course for the club
On the positive we should be back playing at Leichhardt and campbletown pretty quickly in 2023.
Teams that play out of LO and CSS don't make semi finals so they won't get past the pool matches all will be ok
Daytime footy at the new SFS look….. pretty good
Atmosphere looked great too.

Gawd I hope they use the SFS. Probably won’t though because once the fans see it, use it and realise how good it is they won’t want to go back to Leichhardt or CSS.
They wanted to use SFS but it is unavailable during the world cup as well.
Bummer. Concord Oval it is then.. lol
They actually really wanted to use it during that period to see what it was like.
I should be shocked they feel the need to 'test' the facility before trying to get something in place. Or thought the only way to test would be to WAIT until we play there.
But I'm not...
Home Venues
Wests Tigers will play nine 'home' games in 2023 across Campbelltown Sports Stadium, Leichhardt Oval and CommBank Stadium with each venue hosting three games.
Various membership packages will be available providing access to these games including our ‘full season’ package which includes all nine games.
Details about our remaining three 'home games' will be made available in the coming days.
The club's long-term stadium strategy is to play most home games at our two 'spiritual homes', namely Campbelltown and Leichhardt.
This is not possible for next season due to the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup and we have structured our 2023 Membership packages accordingly.
@jedi-tiger isn't it our turn to host Easter Monday?
Hope it's not at Commbank, LO or CSS
should be a Accor as a big event
Top 8 2023
I know this will upset a few people but we need to get some facts straight.
For the first 79 years the Western Suburbs Magpies were an inner city club as well as Balmain. The Western Suburbs Magpies were only in MacArthur region for 13 years and they were forced to do so by the NSWRL.
It is really no surprise that the merger of two inner city clubs results in an inner city mind set. Wests Tigers are an inner city club born out of two inner city clubs.
IMO our home ground should be inner city and no further west than Stadium Australia.
@mike There is nothing at Campbelltown and the club gives all its game day revenue to the club next door that can not stand Wests Ashfield ,but the Nay sayers dislike Commbank as some supporters might enter the club next door WHATS the difference !The club is going to get burnt once again playing there and to be honest the club continues treating it’s supporters as second class as these two grounds are second class and are not stadiums premium sport should be played at .The club lives in this fantasy world of the past and just can’t set a path to break the cycle of failure, it needs to leave the past in the past and move forward into a new future but that takes vision and after over a decade of failure they roll out the same old same old … Good Luck!

I feel like this discussion is in a constant cycle. I pretty much agree with you, but also feel that one of the few actual assets the Tigers have is the SW junior area and abandoning CSS would be the beginning of the end IMO and Bulldogs and Penrith will push harder than they already are.

You don’t have to abandon the South West juniors to have our home ground in the inner city. You could still build an academy out there and they can still be a feeder for the Wests Tigers.
