Looked like a great atmosphere out there today 👍 got to hand it to WT fans…no matter what we keep coming back for more!!
it was great out there today LO has something no other ground has. From the latchem stand that hill looks unbelievable when full.
Would be happy to play most games there for out of Sydney teams.
We will play Knights, warriors, eels, sharks, dragons, south’s, panthers, raiders, titans, bulldogs, sea eagles, cowboys as our home game adversaries. 5 Sydney and 7 out of Sydney teams. If you play all out of Sydney teams plus Parra at LO that leaves 6:6 and a decent chance to pack out both LO and Commbank
Bulldogs CEO Aaron Warburton has revealed plans to shift their 2026 clash with the Dragons to a neutral venue — potentially Allianz Stadium. Bulldogs on one side and Dragons the other.
“The bottom line, the profit, we split,” Warburton told SEN.
tigers should be doing the same. Was it the 2010 semi final when we had AnZ stadium split between tigers and St George? That was epic. This is the future as the membership bases grow. We play the out of town teams at LO and the Sydney teams at a Mega stadium where we split the stadium and the takings.
Couldn't agree more. The AFL started doing this over 20 years ago, we're miles behind.
Reading the full article the bulldogs share ticket take with the rabbits at Accor and are looking to do it with the dragons because they are both going to Vegas together. Warburton says it only really works where you share a stadium. So it would be us and parramatta if we are at Commbank or us and bulldogs/souths if we go to Accor.
Looks like Leichhardt Oval, Campbelltown, and Parramatta next year.
Then Leichhardt will be under construction.

well CSS is meant to be announced this week and if it isn’t then we could be down to LO and one other modern stadium

I believe CSS is locked in for next year regardless of the funding.

@joel You are right the state is broke .. the priority for the Gov is Accor as it’s fast becoming a white elephant , it gets reconfigured and it gets a new life !
@tigertownsfs I would not think that’s a guarantee .. the club is strapped for cash I could see Richo pulling the plug as it will take him a few days to count the $$$ after Sundays game ! The Tigers have one recruitment person the dogs have Nine… it’s going to be all about money IMO.

100% and IMO it needs to be.
Its regularly mentioned here and other forums of the "boys club" or 2005 links behind Benji and his assistant coachs and support staff as some form of favoritism or nepotism, but IMO its because these are the guys that will do the work for less and the club can afford them. I am confident that Richo knows the real problem now is financial and we need to make enough money to pay for the best support staff.
