Agree 100% lets pick an animal and stick to it, this whole obsession with the Magpie vs the Tiger is beyond ridiculous. I empathize with the ex Magpies supporters as I would probably be salty too if they had dumped the Tiger (probably would have got over it in 2005), however truth be told I would have either been so pissed off I went to another team or just moved on and went all in on the Magpies. Its not like the two clubs and supporters hated each other...imagine the Fibros merged with the silvertails.@lorenzo unfortunately while Burgess is relevant at the HBG the reserve grade will be the Magpies and play at Lidcombe oval to facilitate the 100 die hard magpies sad but true .. but yes playing one game is ridiculous and there should be more happening , with the reintroduction of the youth completion that could be the first game that side should be a Weststigers side!

100%, it’s a constant reminder of our division. A total waste of time and resources to placate a small group of people.

basically if it is not wests tigers I couldn't care less, I have zero interest in watching the magpies or balmain run around in reserve grade. We are 25 years in dhould be one club all grades
if the magpies continue they should ditch lidcombe and play magpies games at CSS
We are getting 15k/sellout crowds regularly now at both LO and CSS. I’m think we could average at least 25k at Accor. It really depends on who we play and on what days.
My favourite ground to watch Rugby League at.Sure it is.YesSince souths are moving on fron Accor apparently back to Allianz
as some have said LO for out of town teams and teams like sharks, manly etc
Accor stadium $10 tickets for big Sydney teams
give Parramatta Stadium the flick
No
There is a reason Souths want out and we would be mad not to listen to it. The ground just isn't fit for club games.
You’re both right, it isn’t ideal but it also works on a lot of levels too.
Only level it works on is location.
Stadium Australia
CSS
Leichhardt
Western Sydney Stadium dead last.
big issue with Parramatta Stadium (let's call it was it is ) is the sun in tour eyes as a season ticket holder, simply not good enough for day games. As a Gold member season ticket holders deserve better than squinting into the sun during day games.
Yes some membership can pay an absolute premium to sit on the other side but it is simply not a good stadium to watch day games at.
I do hope we move to homebush and have guaranteed revenue and replace souths at that venue. The days of the reciprocal ticket for members at dogs games is a great idea bring that back. In Richo speak plenty of seating for corporates too so he will be happy.
@jedi-tiger If that's what it takes to get the corporate dollars and beef up our coaching and support staff as well as Benji's pot of money to hammer the Refs than I'm all for it! Play a couple of games at CSS and LO and the rest at Accor.
Accor lower bowl has about 50k seats, a train line to the CBD and to south west, a future metro with stops throughout the inner west, the M4 next door.
im an SFs guy but i just can’t cop playing the majority of our games out of parramatta stadium once Richo kills off CSS. We don’t need to sign a 10yr deal, just sign a 3 year deal and see how you go. Most importantly provide massive incentives for members and fans to attend in person and build a combined fanbase.
this years home games:
CSS: Knights, warriors, rabbits, raiders
Commbank: eels, panthers, bulldogs,
LO: sharks, titans, cowboys
SFS: sea eagles
Suncorp: dragons
in a LO/Accor split you take:
LO: cowboys, warriors, titans, warriors
Accor: dragons, sea eagles, sharks, panthers, eels, bulldogs, Raiders, knights, rabbits
@tigertownsfs I agree.
I'm not intersted in going to Parramatta Stadium but if play at Homebush I'll make that trip to Sydney to watch. Great facilities and in/out easily makes for a much better experience for the fans and plenty of corporate space for Richo.
SFS also my favourite (already booked in for Roosters, and probably Manly) but with that off the table the next best experience is Homebush.

this is such an interesting development. WT can compete with the bulldogs for fans (if not members). Sydney has never had a big attendance track record but the bulldogs have shown it can be done. I remain convinced that we could get giant crowds if correctly priced day games vs Eels, Dogs, south’s and Dragons. Maybe the NRL needs to do some sort of package deal where the monster Sydney clubs agree to organise to have one afternoon game each round at Accor rotated between them to create a mega rivalry match every week.

You need a successful team too. The Sydney market is full of bandwagon fans that will pop up when the team is doing well again (if that ever happens). Particularly for the historically big teams, of which I'd say we are one (alongside Souths, Dogs, Saints and Parra).
We have been a sleeping giant for over a decade. If/when the tide finally turns, we'll be able to run these promos and attract massive crowds as well.
Match of the Day at Stadium Australia.

Richo reiterates that CSS will be dropped as a home ground if min $50m isn’t committed by June 30. Interestingly he doesn’t say Commbank he just says “another stadium that allows us to grow membership “

@mike looking that way, especially with Souths looking to play at Allianz...which is where they should be playing their home games anyway...cant believe Rorters are claiming it as only their home ground. Stadium Australia will make Richo an offer he cant refuse.
