Zurich eh, gotta say I'm kind of neutral on the new name.

Still LO and CSS have no sponsor

We wouldn't get any benefit from LO and CSS being sponsored.

not direct, but funding could go into much needed upgrades.

Or the council would just use the money in other areas.

I find our club a strange beast on one hand they laud the future of having a state of the art training facility and home base then on the other hand want to play out of two grounds that are sub Standard to host elite sporting events  and not giving there supporters the same luxury …will not criticise the naming of the COE as it is quite an achievement to garner a major sponsorship deal covering the facility and the Women’s team especially when the team finished LAST in the competition well done !  Our club is a huge beast just needs to be woken up !

If sponsors want to be associated, I'd rather get the money direct than give it to Inner West Council to waste.

@tiger5150 Darcy wanted 1/2 the money allocated for the swimming pool down the road which was run into the ground like Leichhardt oval.

Yep, and if we get success on field the two traditional grounds won’t be fit for purpose, meaning fans will miss out.

@helmesy maybe the club wants the importance of membership e.g. no membership then can't get in e g. racing membership, golf memberships etc you pay you can attend. So making it kind of exclusive

Maybe, but for both venues you’d have to have a lot of non seat allocated members.

A little extra cash from sponsorship is always good. I’m assuming maintenance costs will be high. At last we seem to be a club on the up.
