Where does the big man line up in Rd1? Starting or on the bench?

It’s a good question Joel. I think it’ll be bench especially depending upon who plays 13. If they go with Twal again then Bunty or Sione or Pole probably start with Terrell. If Roberts or Sione start at 13 then Terrell & Twal might start then Bunty might come off the bench. I’d like to think we’ll still bring in one more middle so that might push Bunty down the pecking order if it happens.
I think for your starters you probably need guys who can hold the middle or, at very least, not lose it. I think most games this is the case unless one team dominates possession & territory. A great kicking game & kick chase, high completions etc helps in terms of winning the early part of a game, certainly not losing it. If that is the case then your impact off the bench can make a difference. I don’t think we have great impact from our starters, very few teams do, look at the Panthers & Dogs for instance. But you do need to not lose the early part of a game. And you do need to have players who can make an impact off the bench. I think this is the case anyway.
No way this guy is starting. He played a mix of NRL and NSW cup this season. Surely we aren’t that soft that he becomes a starter. I am still very hopeful that we can pick up Kamakamika who I think would be a decent starter for us even if he isn’t quite that at the storm.

Agree. If he's starting in Rd 1, we're in trouble.
