With a new forum it always takes a bit to get used to the different layout of things.

So I take it this forum isn’t live if post are awaiting moderation? Is that going to be an indefinite thing?

Is it possible just to paste a photo/image or does it only show up as a link to that image from attached file (choose file).

There is a work around for it, basically the link needs to be hosted online somewhere. If you are uploading from your computer, upload it and then right click the attachment and edit your post and paste the link in.

The easiest way when wanting to use images that are already online is to just copy the link to that picture and post that into you post.

3rd method is you can message me and I will do it for you lol

@geo-2 This forum software puts uploaded images as an attachment but will display images from a url address. Work around is if you right click and copy the link for the attachment after you have posted and edit your post and paste the link the image will display.

I just did it with your previous post.

We are looking at improving that feature so you don't have to use the work around.

Hi Forum Organisers

Loving the forum, I have a question/suggestion, which I hope.its taken as a criticism, because it's definitely not, as I'm.relaly enjoying the forum/pod.and the communuty around it.

But as you all know, the best forum threads are the ones where there's that banter and lively discussion.

The difficulty is that as this forum is new it's still in it's infancy in regards to member numbers, and as a result, often, there can be gaps of 4 or 5 hours between posts.on a thread, which kind of kills.the conversation..

So, my question is what do you think is the best way to faciliate more banter /conversation on threads?

I'm no forum architecture expert, but at the moment it seems like 100% of the threads are very specific to a topic such as a news article, podcast episode and all having natural end point.

So my suggestion, is I was wondering if it's worth having 3 or 4 go-to general threads which are a little overaching but allow for a free flowing conversation? And these are somehow flagged so they stay up.top.or.are.easy to find?

Some suggestions for some general go-to threads are:

- rising stars & pathways  thread (discussing 2nd grade, emerging and junior players)

- rumours and signings thread (who are we rumoured or looking to sign this and more likely next year)

- home ground & club identity thread

- team harmony thread (who is contributing, what combinations are working, team morale)

- coaching performance

- WT admin and board

- WT defensive structures

- WT attacking style

Anyway, I'm sure you've already thought of this and these are reason this doesn't make sense, bit just my thoughts.

Kindest

Frullens

Good post Frullens.

I think the pace will pick up naturally and organically as the season starts (Im already noticing it now) and as member numbers grow which they will (and are).
