The Roosters for the spoon? They were reminiscent of WT 2023 tonight.

Looked disengaged and uninterested...running in quicksand. Still a quality side on paper, should have been much better. Robbo is not a coach of the calibre of Bellamy, Bennett or cleary.
Interesting that the Roosters have said they could’ve gone out and recruited this year but Robbo decided instead to try to develop players (that won’t last long). Developing players is a helluva lot tougher than going out and buying talent, ask Seibold. It takes time, a need to be patient & Uncle Nick hasn’t got much patience.
Check out Robbos press conference. Sounds nervous

It's also crap. They tried to steal Fafita and a couple of others but got rejected. They'll make a play for Ponga and/or Galvin for sure
It was fantastic to watch the Rorters implode last night. The churlish attitude of Tedesco and Crichton and Dom Young's attempted trip instead of trying to make a tackle says a lot about where they're at as a club in 2025. I think they know it's a grim season ahead. They're not among the serious contenders in 2025.
But, oh, I forgot they have the genius of Chad Townsend to guide them to a premiership glory?!? I think Marshall should re-evaluate season goals to include "let's finish in front of the Roosters". I think that's one he could achieve.
tedesco's endless whining at the ref was serious grounds for 10mins in the bin....not sure the officials would have copped it from one of our guys.....they know they are cooked this season. It was fantastic to watch the Rorters implode last night. 100% and they’ve already got Reece Robson coming in. You can bet your bottom dollar they’ll be bringing in 2 or 3 other top level players in the next 12 months as well.Interesting that the Roosters have said they could’ve gone out and recruited this year but Robbo decided instead to try to develop players (that won’t last long). Roosters need galvin to partner walker bad, uncle Nick will make a really good offer to galvin for sure
Methinks unless Galvin smashes it out of the park this year uncle Nick may be looking for a more experienced halve to partner walker. I think they are still a smokey to nab brown. Or they will make a play for a Hughes/Munster type, esp if Bellamy calls it quits. We all talk up Galvin, however I'm still thinking he ends up as a gun 13 in a couple of years. Nick knows he is losing Tedesco's leadership so he needs a wise head in the spine. If Galvin is a target than Latu would be as well.Roosters need galvin to partner walker bad, uncle Nick will make a really good offer to galvin for sure
If the "no team that has 50 scored against them can win the premiership" theory is correct, then what a great weekend this has been, IMO. Goodbye Roosters and Eels as eventual premiers. I'm happy with that.
Mind you, there's no certainty our WT will finish in front of either of them.

He will stay.
The tempo that Manly and Melbourne played at was next level… why can’t our guys run at the opposition like that? Or continually jump as a defensive line??
when you have 7 new players in a team it will take time to click. The three teams that have played well in round 1 are Broncos, storm and manly, all have fairly settled teams that have been playing together for a few yrs now.The tempo that Manly and Melbourne played at was next level… why can’t our guys run at the opposition like that?
