This is going to be very interesting for the NRL and there future . I can not see this company paying what the NRL will want at the next Rights deal which is not all that far away Australia is a very small market in the scheme of things . The NRL could have there own streaming service like the NFL or break coverage up to certain streaming services like they do in the states .. but what ever way it goes  the NRL will not be getting that huge amount of money which in turn filters through to the clubs might I say there well could be a lot less clubs in the distant future .

The NFL no longer has its own streaming service,  NFL gamepass is ironically part of DAZN.

These massive aggregators need content. I doubt this means a smaller TV as fox already had a conflicted relationship with NRL post Super league. This actually makes it easier to break up and disperse the rights if the new owner doesn’t want to pay the piper.

yes it could very well cost more but you might get more for it given the global licenses this entity is accumulating

I have DAZN, it really isn't a very good service.

think Stan Sport will have a huge crack at nrl and they will have nine for the free to air TV

Then Stan will have rugby league and union
