My recollection of his history of playing and organising a team whilst he was at the Tigers varies significantly to yours. we won 3/16 with him in the team.
IMO we are as likely to win a game with brooks than Hasting, I genuinely dont think he would make us much better and 3/16 when he was with us backs that up.
I've noticed over the last couple of games, and it may be more, that when we lose the ball forward the whole team pulls up to reset like in a training drill, meanwhile the opposition pick it up and are still playing on and cutting through us. We lack urgency and game awareness.

He isn't a world beater but he'd undoubtedly improve the team - not sure what the issue is with him tbh.
We had a half fit Api playing in the halves tonight, so the situation is beyond ridiculous.
We have lots of issues through the club from top to bottom, but the lack of planning in terms of the halves may be the most egregious.

Can’t believe I’m waking up to hear that Sheens had a whinge about the referees again in the press conference. Yes the Bula knock on call went against us but we have so many issues across the park that I’d rather we focused inward instead of looking at the officials every single week.
I remember a game in 2004 when against the Dragons when Jason Moodie put his hand on the dead ball line when grounding a kick and it was ruled no try. Sheens has a whinge about that and said it changed the entire game. We lost that game by 50 points.
Sheens is just going through the motions as an NRL coach, happily topping up his super on the way. He offers nothing at all in terms of confidence, belief, strategy, innovation, accountability and credibility. He whinges, bristles and snarls his way through press conferences, because that's just him.
I credit the 2005 GF win, in no small part, to Sheens' decision to replace Mark O'Neil as captain and replace him with Scott Prince half way through the season.
If WT are to avoid successive wooden spoons, Sheens himself now needs to be removed from any direct role with the NRL team and hand it all to Marshall. Today. Now. Immediately. What have we long suffering fans and members got to lose?
I was one who thought the Sheens appointment,at the time,was a sound one. He sacked Madge and we are 4/29 since. It's been a monumental failure by a Club that is no stranger to monumental failures.
Besides a young fullback who's becoming a superstar and a quality 9, we don't resemble an NRL side.

I'm not a Sheens guy as such but that's a bit harsh imo. He was asked directly about the try first up and was (rightly) annoyed about it. He also said it didn't factor into the result at all, and was very critical of the team - much more so than usual. Seemed to be more upset than usual tbh.
