yeah agree he has some work to do with his D …our 6 doesn’t help much out their either.Some very bad luck with the calls and some bad bounces, but execution at crucial moments let us down. Was a very winnable game.
Saukuru is an enigma. Very threatening with ball in hand, but can't tackle to save his life. Unless he sorts that part of his game out, he's not going to have much of a career
One word WASTED it’s a total waste of everybody’s time until Marshall employs an assistant coach that can coach these individuals how to play in the red zone . Again enough ball in that area to score 5 tries . There’s only one person to blame again for this continuing failure !

But if the head coach, renowned for his attacking genius as a player, can't improve attacking structures, why would you expect an assistant coach to do that?
Marshall, sure as hell, can't be the defensive coach because his defence as a player was arguably worse than those we're criticising here.
So, exactly what does Marshall bring to this head NRL coach role? Very little, it seems.
Until he's booted or resigns, there is no likelihood of making finals in 2027 or the near future, IMO.
WT finished 13th in 2025 and, in all likelihood, 14th in 2026. Says it all, really.
@mercy-rule You are stating the obvious , playing structured was not Marshall’s go so how does he structure offensive plays in the red zone ? The only saving grace for not axing Marshall this season is he brings in HELP as watching this team get over 30 goes in the Red zone is embarrassing to say the least …There is also a lot more to being a head coach than designing structures my beef with Marshall is he seems reluctant to surround himself with professionals he seems to have the rest covered but being in a game where your judged on results well …

We were ripped off by the refs. The Bunker is a joke, if we are going to persist with technology it's time to use AI for bunker decisions! Take the human element out of it and at least get consistency in those decisions!
@snake all I and most others want from refereeing is consistency. On field needs to be a live adjudication and I can live with that for now (ultimately AI will be able to do a better job). But we have the opportunity to use AI in the bunker now and get technically correct rulings. It can still be policed modified, but the same rules will apply to all, not be dependent on which ref is sitting in the chair!
@snake Well if you said who was to blame in your original post, i would not have had to guess that it's Marshall.
So, at last we agree on that bit; Marshall's a dud.
But it should not be up to Marshall to decide that he needs an assistant who is the attacking coach and who that person should be. That's the job of the CEO and Board to determine who is on the coaching staff. Not the current head coach. He, Marshall, needs a massive kick up the arse, not to be given more authority to cover up his own shortcomings.
