My word is Testicular-fortitude...... make it work! Lol

That game took a lot of balls to keep getting back up and fighting for each other. If they can keep this effort up they will earn a lot more respect on their way back to the top where they belong!

Welcome!

My one word is ‘finally’ can’t remember our last golden point win to be honest. We stayed in the fight, was very happy after last weeks debarkle.

My one word is.... amazing. That was not one of our best attacking performances but our defence made it possible for us to win. We didn't want to lose and they weren't going to let the sharksbeat us. Amazing 👏.

The garbage that gets put in the press about our club is insane. We win against a premiership threat like the sharks and on queue a journo drops a disgrace like this. You can tell this was written before the game expecting to be able to lay the boot in. Pathetic

Yes absolutely disgraceful article, I actually want to debate this Moses lackey on the pod. I have put a post on x to try and get his attention, rubbish like this needs to be called out.

My one word-intangibles. The things that can't be measured, the desperation to make that try saving tackle on a bigger man, the desire , for example, by Sione to make multiple runs in that final set and the extra post contact metres he made to get the team upfield, the effort of Bula to charge down the field goal attempt and continue to chase to put pressure on Kennedy and force the turnover. And the crowd effect, something special.

Firstly, the article was published under the OPINION banner, so I assume you're not saying it's disgraceful that someone would have a different opinion to yours?

I don't listen to the pod you guys put out, but on the odd occasion that I did, I found myself disagreeing with opinions expressed there too. But you have every right to express them. And, I can choose not to listen.

While the tone of the article is vindictive and pointed, and Breen could legitimately be called out for that, I agree with him on one key point (and have posted about it on this forum), that, IMO, Richardson handled this Galvin matter shockingly from the start with the timing, tone and message in that first press release. It was incendiary, not informative and strategic.

And, if modern NRL media see him as a relic from the 90s, then that's on Richardson to remedy, if he's smart enough to want to.

I took issue with the shot at Barry as he was there at the game, the fact that he isn’t leaking to the media is a positive as it’s not his role to manage the media, it’s to hold the executive to account

i took issue with the regurgitation of the list of players that have left the Tigers (Fifita!Tedesco!), it’s been a decade and we have new owners, new management, new coaches. How long do we have to hear that cheap garbage?

plus it’s just completely unnecessary to express this opinion that we are a crap club. We are 4 and 4 with 2 games lost by 2 points and the eels game would have been a win if the refs had done their jobs.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I think there is a certain breed of cheap click bait journalism where journos put out these articles because they know that it winds up our supporters and gets clicks. It’s cheap because it’s actually not based in facts and is not fair, it’s just lazy and it does impact our club and our supporters and our ability to recruit and succeed. It’s easy to say that this is our fault because we have been poorly managed etc but those who watch the club closely know that this caricature is out of date. I honestly believe that “opinion” was written before the actual game because it basically doesn’t even mention the game at all. You could have asked ChatGPT to write that article and it couldn’t have told the difference, I’ve seen that article written 100 times over the last 10 years and I’m sick of it. That’s my opinion.

There was no booing of the club from the fan base yesterday, that is an out and out lie. There was minimal booing of Galvin.

I also have no issue with someone attending their nieces wedding.

The Neil Breen article is one of the laziest hatchet jobs I have ever read, this says a lot considering the amount of crap that has been written about the tigers over the years. I have no issue with Richo going to his nieces wedding, and I don't think any fans were booing the club and in fact I barely heard any booing related to Galvin. All in all, a great outcome for the Tigers the result on Sunday and the team and management should be congratulated.

Having said that, the adulation for Galvin seems to go on unabated in the media, I think he had a pretty ordinary game, especially in defense, everyone going on about his try saving tackle on the Cronulla forward, yes it was great he got a hold of him and slowed him down, however if you look at the replay he actually lost his grip on the tackled player and if not for a team mate coming in and covering he could have got up and scored a try under the posts, I mention this as it is a worrying trend. If you look at a few of the line breaks and other try's you can see a trend of Lachie not making solid first contact or completely missing his assignment in defense. I raise this because it is obvious opposing teams are targeting him in defense, and it is a massive liability that far outweighs anything he provides in attack. I will not get into the attack side of his game, as I'm pretty sure most people on this forum would have noticed the balance between the rocks and diamonds.

Neil Breen is as good at writing rubbish as Peter FitzSimons.
