big game back home at the great eighth wonder

love it

I read this wrong … thought it said big game for a great five eighth 🤣🤣😂

Seriously what’s this goose doing back in team 🤷‍♂️

To boo or not to boo??

we can’t tear ourselves apart. It’s going to be another emotional day and I hope we can all hold it all together and cheer on a great win

Emotional day at Leichardt only means one thing and it WON’T be 2 points. Goodbye to yet another season

Of course he will be booed. He has single handedly thrown our calm start to the season into chaos. Emotions are still high, we will no doubt get screwed by the refs again and fans will be out for blood as they are understandably frustrated. It will calm down in a few weeks, hopefully after they shift him to lock or the bench to cater for latu, and hopefully he will play a role in getting us back on track. But in the short term he will have to cop his comeuppance from the fans for the damage he has caused.

Of course he shouldn't be booed.

If anything is to come out of season 2025, after watching that pitiful effort against the Eels, he will probably need to be part of it. He needs to be encouraged, not vilified.

Aren't you a moderator of this site that posted a comment from a "contributor" who went to great lengths to expose Galvin's father as a loose cannon? If so, at 19yo, why are you suggesting Galvin be exposed to the anger of Tigers fans if, possibly, circumstances beyond him, are a part of this situation? How is that going to help? Or the team?

You should be strong in advocating for him to be respected and appreciated, IMO, if this whole sorry saga is to end in anything other than misery for all involved.

Yours is a ridiculous comment.

I didn’t say to boo him, I just asked the question to start the debate on what the individual members of the forum believe about this.

What I, or anyone else here discuss, is not going to have any impact on what 5,000 people do on the hill on Sunday.

How does Alex Twal keep getting picked? A complete mystery to me.

Averages 100m (35pcm) and 29 tackles per game at 98% tackle efficiency. Reliable contributor who doesn’t lose his head, give away stupid penalties or sue the club. Mystery solved!

Hmm. You sound a bit like a Bryden's lawyer if that's the best you can come up with. Mystery remains IMO.

@helmesy I know you didn't suggest he be booed. But you could have shown leadership and proposed that he NOT be booed unless, of course, you think he deserves it. Whether you like it or not, you are a leader of opinion on all things WT.

He hasn't gone anywhere yet, he hasn't signed anywhere yet. Why can't his mind be changed by the realization that he feels like he belongs at WT and is valued by fans, staff and teammates? He's a kid FFS, and not a very smart one as best I can work out. Anything can happen before the end of 2026.

But 5000 "fans" booing him from the LO hill will only consolidate his, alleged, current stand and give more ammunition to the media grubs reporting this stuff. I'll be at the game and I'll be supporting him as I will be all of the team. I hope enough sensible others do the same. Otherwise, if any mass hostility towards him, then the club should just give up now and let him go; him and Moses win, WT lose yet again.

You and all others on here, and the WT club leaders can handle his recall in a smart, strategic and possibly (long term) successful way, or we/they can do nothing and let what ever will happen, just happen. I'm not holding my breath given Richardson's responses so far.

I really don’t have an opinion either way on it, it will be up to the individuals at the game as to what they do, or don’t do.

I think it’s all moot anyway as he will soon be wearing another teams colours.

Haha, I wish I was on that sort of coin.

I’m just pointing out every team has these sort of players, and I reckon Twal is one of the better ones. Using my unqualified lawyer skills, I present evidence A: Penrith have won multiple premierships with eisenhuth in the team throughout the season.

To what advantage?

Sione has been pretty average imo, which reflects his status as someone still developing. Still no more than a bench player, if that.

Maybe the Penrith players are better coached and developed to be able to do what Eisenhuth has done? In that respect, you're presenting evidence for the Galvin mob's claims.

Stupid ref Kennedy is in the Bunker. Expect more howlers… he’ll be looking for ways to exert his influence on the game.

Having a fresh Pole to come on after 25-30 will benefit the long minutes of Mays I believe. Could even give May a break 10 before halftime and then fresher for his final spell.

I’d seriously consider not running Bird on Sunday with a wet weather game predicted. I’d be playing Kit or Tony
