Despite the result I felt this was a well thought out plan to beat the Broncos. Many things didn’t go our way and we were up against a much classier team but it showed me that Benji has individual game plans to pull teams apart.
The future is bright!!! TDS, Sukkar, Latu, Luke L, Galvin but he is not worth a million a season, yes we got done by 22 but i am pumped for the future of this club, weird hey.. Mind u, first try from Arthurs was not a try and Walters try was only 3 metres forward
One word - Luck
We never get any when we really need it.

100% first time in Benji's career that I could see a clear gameplan.
In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)
‘Reality’
Also I would have put API to half TDS to hooker far less disruptive when our half went off
One word. Tiers
We have been a tier 3 level team trying to get to tier 2.
Broncos and 3 or 4 other teams are tier 1 and we have a long way to go to get to that tier.

yes those 2 tries were ridiculous and then when you consider Luke should have put it down in the corner and Royce pushover was also one that only we could get called out for then the game was actually within our grasp (that’s even before our goal kicking issues)
Expected - Honestly, I didn't think the boys would win this one. But, what a first half performance. Out played the Bronco's for 35 of 40 mins. Surprised them with a great game plan. Second half had our guys trying to play catchup, and clearly the Bronc's gathered themselves, no doubt after a big spray from Madge. Bronc's are a top 3-4 team and we are climbing up off the mat after a few KO's over the past seasons. Well done lads, Tigers on the Rise.. Claws Out..
One word - Impressive
Broncos came into this game off a 8 day turnaround, 3 weeks playing at home, home game and full strength and looking like a top 4 team
Tigers came into this game off a 6 day turnaround and a short one at that given late Synday game, flying to Brisbane, missing our 1.2m half, starting winger and best backrower, 4 19 yr olds and a 20 yr old rookie
We lead the Broncos for 40 mins, should have finished 6 tries each given the ridiculous forward pass on the Walters try and Hunt effectively scoring a try.
We have a genuine team this year - last night convinced me we can make the finals.
So Impressed with the whole squad and the coach last night. Wow
Unflattering - the score line that is, since it doesn’t reflect the competitiveness the Tigers showed. There were times when the Tigers were outclassed by Brisbane, notably by Reynolds, Hunt and Carrigan. They were the better team and deserved to win. But there was some great attacking play from the Tigers, who scored 5 tries and should have got a sixth.
And man, that officiating was a punish. I am a biased observer but Arthurs looked to me like he knocked on while grounding the ball. The Walters try was a clear forward pass. And Ashley Klein really got his rule book out to deny Royce Hunt a try. Klein is like a bloke who knows 100 ways to have sex, but doesn’t know any women.
The Walters knock on at dummy half late was another howler, though by then the game was gone.
The defence still needs work. Brisbane found joy on our left, and Carrigan’s passing at the line was a threat. The kicking game from Reynolds, Hunt and Walsh was very good. Yet for a very inexperienced Tigers team there was a lot to like.
