Sure we are compromised with a number of outs, but for mine there has been a huge cultural shift, and in my opinion big enough to upset the Broncos who’ve not exactly set the world alight. As long as we maintain discipline and the match officials don’t flog us we’re in this up to our ears.I believe the bookies have drastically miscalculated this one.I’m predicting we’ll get over the top of them at the death.Let’s go Boys!

The more I look at this game the more I think the Broncos will put on a score. I’m confident they will have the majority share of possession as the officials will, I’m guessing, give quite a few 6 agains to them. They expected to win, they are at home & up against a team that tends to lose the early collision, that will influence decisions even though the officials might not premeditate it. So imo we have to hope our middles can hang in there & give our backs enough opportunities to play footy, chance their hand etc. Our young guys might make wrong decisions or mistakes but if they can play without fear of that & remain positive no matter the circumstances then maybe, just maybe there’s a chance of a win.

It is a beautiful day up here today. Can’t get to the game but am rocking the jersey around Brisbane city and getting plenty of love from my fellow tigbros. Let’s make a game of it!!

Samuela out, bird replaces him, Sukkar on the bench.

Good to see Tony get a run, he’s worked hard over the past few years so deserves his opportunity. Going to miss that impact of energy Jack brings when he comes off the bench but hopefully TDS can still cause problems for the Broncos late first half & early 2nd half. Doubt we’ll get the run of the green so a huge challenge for the boys.

I would have preferred to see Kit on the bench.

The experience of the Broncos halves, compared to our teenagers apparent in the first 10 minutes

Having said that, some lovely decision making from Galvin

Was a good effort first half. Should have been ahead - 3 missed kicks and a try dropped over the line.

Second half has been an immature performance, which is probably to be expected. Have copped a fair bit of bad luck too.

Take the loss, feel the pain, channel it into making sure we win next week when we have some troops back.

Predictable really. The timing was perfect for Broncos with our injuries & such a big out as Romey. Love these young players we have, give them a year or two & surround them with a little more quality & we’ll be a lot better.

My one word is: Outclassed. Went pretty much as I expected. Young halves still have a lot to learn but heading in the right direction. Injuries didn’t help.

the Kids:

Luke L looked good
Bula is so smooth, real quality

TDS played some extra minutes, looks better than most NRL 9s

Latu looked like a real 7. If Galvin leaves we have our 7 to push Luai out to 6

galvin nice touches but he is definately a 6, as Richo says he is the cream but he can’t win it by himself

One word: twenty

Twenty points conceded in the few minutes either side of half time without us touching the ball. You won't win any games with that sort of lapse, let alone a team full of top level players like Brisbane.
